Working through agency. Most of the staff is OK most are very helpful and friendly. Some are NOT.Not a bad place to work.

I was greeted right away with friendly staff who walked me through the computerized sign in process. A nice system that takes your photo and temp. Wish I had that years ago in the nursing facilities I worked in. Staff did forget to tell me about the code for the elevator to come back to the first floor. Helpful staff found the code to exit. Rooms needed a little updating but were clean and care appeared to meet patient needs. I had a positive impression and felt proper care was being given. Would be interested in knowing what activities were available for mobile and non mobile patients. I understand there was some miscommunication on breakfast menus but that was straightening out. Overall a decent place to be if you needed care.

Please dont be fooled by brand new buildings fancy furniture and modern lobbies in some facilities. Brentwood may not be new and fancy but they truly care and deliver excellent service The staff is well trained in memory care and they really know how to provide clients with those special needs. The recreation team is active and engaging and really have a lot of fun. I highly recommend Brentwood and I am glad we found them. They are a special group of people.

We were so happy to our sister up and freshly bathed and dressed sitting comfortably in the dining room when we arrived. We had a great visit and several of the staff stopped by to chat to see if she or we needed anything. Thank you Brentwood for taking such good loving care of her.

Mom has been at this facility for 2 12 years and I have appreciated the care and compassion of the staff. She so much needed socialisation and Brentwood offers music activities and other fun things like cooking and therapy pets. I can stop by any time I want and theres never any question except Covid. Even though it is an older facility I would recommend Brentwood wholeheartedly.

Not the newest facility but they love and take very good care of my mother who is 82 with Huntingtons Disease.

EVERYONE has been incredibly helpful friendly and kind. They have taken the time to answer questions verify information and offered support. I have truly felt that I was being heard.

If your loved one is here take them out immediately My moms blood pressure was 202103 she was dehydrated and she had a UTI and was neglected beyond belief Luckily our family is close and came daily and was able to get her to Mercy hospital Unfortunately not fast enough. She couldnt swallow none of the staff had a plan or ideas Just allowing her to fade away They dont address health concerns or update family to medications or care theyre given. They had her on narcotics without clear knowledge to anyone she was on them when it was written in her chart she had sensitivity to them and not to administer any kind. They are short staff to where my mother had to urinate in a trash can after staff neglected to come to her aid after pressing the call button for an Hour She didnt have strength on her own to get to the bathroom. The staff refused to take initiation any concerns we were having. They wanted us to drive her to the hospital after we asked for an ambulance. They rolled their eyes when we said wed call them if they couldnt. Mercy admitted her immediately and she had to have surgery and she passed away do to the long period without food and undiagnosed issue with her esophagus. She was animate she couldnt swallow but wasnt taken seriously Brentwood didnt listen to her or our concerns she surely might of survived if they had listened They lied to the hospital saying she was wheel chair bound when she came in when in fact she wasnt She was walking and talking and solely went there for rehab. Im informing anyone that this place is a dangerous place for someone in need and I highly recommend by me you go elsewhere. This place is about the paycheck not the general care for the patients

My family is very happy with the care that my mother is receiving at Brentwood. After learning that my mother could no longer live at home due to the amount of assistance she needs as a result of a progressive neurological disease the most important thing to us was that shed be in a place where she feels safe and well cared for and we are confident that Brentwood provides this. Placing a loved one in long-term care is an emotional and difficult process for everyone involved but the team at Brentwood has helped us through the process at every turn. I visit regularly and have found the staff to always be friendly and helpful. Its important to recognize that the work they are doing is VERY hard work...I truly believe it takes a special type of person to provide nursing care in a long-term facility and will always be grateful for the care given to my mother. She is content and feels safe and thats all that matters. The administrative staff from the business manager who handles all of the insurance paperwork to the wonderful Brenda in admissions have also provided us with a great deal of support and are always willing to answer questions.

My mother stayed at Brentwood twice for rehab after pneumonia and lived in the long term care unit for the last few months of her life. I found the staff to be very kind and caring. The nurses and physical therapists were also very good. I felt comfortable coming and going with my dog at all times of the day and night. The staff was also very helpful to me as a caregiver. The facility may be a bit tired but the people were great My experience was in 2017.
