Brain Balance of Woodbury

The Coaches and team have been amazing working with our Autistic son and we are seeing progress right away. I was encouraged to read the book Disconnected Kids and the concepts resonated the family stories were all too familiar and it became clear the Brain Balance program was an investment we needed to make to give our child every opportunity to function well in this world.

I stumbled upon this center while searching for something that could help our 11 year old son who struggles with executive functioning disorder We have tried everything and our son was feeling so defeated with middle school. This center was so knowledgeable and compassionate as they listened and designed a program that was specifically tailored to him. Their staff truly cares about helping these struggling kids and is always available if we ever need any special support. Most importantly our son loves going They make skill building fun for him- he feels better and we can see changes in him. Its not a magic pill it is hard work but we feel like putting in this energy and effort can only help our son in his journey through life.

It is a big commitment to help your child with a program like this but we had such a supportive and good experience with all of the staff. When we wrapped up the program my son asked but if I am done when will I see coach Anita In addition the insight into helping my son and enabling him to be more successful in school and at home is extraordinary.

I cant begin to tell you how this program has changed my daughters life. I have been advocating for my daughter since Kindergarten and continued to watch her struggle in school the last few years. As a mom I knew she was processing things and learning different from other children. She was diagnosed with dyslexia after we went and had her evaluated. I found the Brain Balance Program after reading the book Disconnected Kids and connected with the Woodbury location shortly after. I am glad we did.This program is intense but worth it. I knew when we started I needed to be dedicated to this program as much as the staff were dedicated to helping us. I love that this program is directed to not only the brain and body but also the nutrition piece which we have found to be extremely beneficial in working with our daughter.Brain Balance of Woodbury has dedicated staff. Wonderful communication throughout the program. They have helped accommodate our busy schedule as well trying to balance our busy family life and attending programming three times a week. My daughter has loved the coaches she has worked with and has always been excited to attend her sessions.The biggest part was the improvements we saw within our daughter since starting Brain Balance. She struggled in school. She was in 3rd grade and reading at a 1st grade level. I was watching her confidence and self-esteem diminish. She did not like to read because of this. She did not like school because she was easily distracted and couldnt concentrate. She started seeing behavior issues because of these struggles.Within a few short months we saw her self-esteem and confidence grow. She was reading us books and her teacher indicated at conferences that she is doing well and has shown great improvements. We have seen less behavior issues. This would have not happened without Brain Balance and we are thankful for this program and their amazing staff.

Brain Balance of Woodbury staff have been amazing This program has been helping our son who struggles with ADHD and dyslexia. He has shown wonderful growth developmentally socially and academically. I would recommend this program to any child who struggles with ADHD.

Today its my 4 year old daughter 12th session and we can notice the improvements. The whole team makes you feel welcome and understood.They are kind and fun to be around.Great experience so far.

We came to Brain Balance for approximately 8 months. Our 11 yr old did enjoy if for the time he was there. Sheila is the utmost professional caring selfless individual We treasure her words of wisdom and endless knowledge when it comes to kids The money did get a little tight for us towards the end but it was worth every penny for the 8 months we were there Our son grew in many areas and that has been the biggest blessing of all. We continue to do exercises at home and hope that continues. You will NOT be sorry for investing in your child - EVER

The best way I can describe the BRAIN BALANCE virtual program is LIFE TRANSFORMING Weve seen the impossible become possible with All three of our children. After years of trying different techniques and advice from various people our son who is now in 3rd grade was still falling behind in his reading He had a hard time staying focused in class and started to lose a bit of self confidence. A friend suggested us to look into Brain Balance The program was very intriguing to us so we decided to have our son assessed by them. We liked the holistic approach they had with improving your childs issues Our son is almost halfway through the program and his improvements in school and in social settings have been amazing His test scores in reading and math have dramatically improved so has his confidence We love the program and the staff is really knowledgeable. Our experience at Brain Balance Woodbury has been nothing short of positive. They really do seem to care about our son and the staff are friendly and always ready to answer questions when needed. Their follow up assessments are always on time. Although our son is very smart and intelligent we were concerned about behavior and his ability to accurately process certain things for his age. Although we are only half way through the program since we have been there we have seen improvements all around in our son while being in this program. For families on a tight or little to no budget the program is pricey as they dont accept insurance and for some this can be a barrier to entry for sure however you cannot put a price on your childs development. I would highly recommend Brain Balance for your childs development.
