Blue Balloon ABA

Blue Balloon started great they were very accommodating to my daughter having a Gtube. Then suddenly i received an email stating that she cant return until they figure things out then required me to take off of work to come start and end her feed total of 2 hours off work randomly. She was there about a month before the issues started. I wish communication was better but I ended up just keeping her with me. If needs wont be accommodated the center is not for her.

This started off to be a great experience for me and my wife starting with the introduction and the tour of the facility with the exception of the wait when we got there and there was no one out front to greet us or check to see who we were . As we started to get into the enrollment process my wife was dealing with Alana who was extraordinary. However we could not get back in touch with Alana and ended up dealing with Eli The Insurance Guy Eli is very tough to deal with and does not communicate well and was very patronizing and insulting when it came to what we could afford and what our insurance company would cover . Blue Balloon came highly recommended to us thru Baltimore County Infants and Toddlers our son was diagnosed with Autism recently and we were really excited to take the next step and start with ABA therapy. But after the experience and dealing with Eli over the phone we would definitely not take our son to this facility after having the experience we had. We had high hopes for Blue Balloon and was looking forward to enrolling our child. Our Insurance is with Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC and as of 01012023 they have enhanced their coverage for outpatient ABA therapy which covers whether in-network or out of Network 100 for the services. It was not the matter of us affording the services we were thinking why should we pay out of pocket if our Health Insurance Plan would cover 100. I think if Eli was more patient with us and more understanding rather than pre-judging or assuming it was not affordable to us based on his own assumption we would have been happy to move forward with the enrollment and would have made any sacrifice needed financially for our child. Instead the only alternative and consideration offered was for him to offer my wife another Health Insurance Plan other than Blue Cross Blue Shield that would cover the services.

We havent even been here long and I can already say Ive seen a change in my 4 year old daughter. This institute is phenomenal The communication far exceeds my expectations and the team members there seem to work like one big family. There learning process is exceptional and wholesome. My daughter only took maybe alittle more than a week to get use to the place and she loves it My daughters RBT and BCAB are amazing. Every person there genuinely seems to want to get to know all the children and that gives me such a peace of mind. I would recommend this place to everyone

Ive worked at Blue Balloon for about 6 months while I pursue my BCBA and I really enjoy it. Throughout my time there ive built great relationships with the administration and staff Great place to work

Blue Balloon has exceeded all my expectations From my first phone call to inquire how to start the process through insurance coverage my daughters evaluation being set up with our BCBA meeting our RBT and then starting services each interaction Ive had with the staff at Blue Balloon couldnt have been better. When our daughter was diagnosed we didnt know where to start. We had already been working with different therapists had so many appointments and were focused on getting through the day- minute by minuteSince we started with Blue Balloon we feel supported and encouraged. Our daughter has bonded so well with her RBT their relationship is truly special. Our BCBA is understanding our daughters needs as well as our ENTIRE familys needs. What continues to amaze me is how respectful they BCBA and RBT are to our values and how communicative they are.The parent education we get is phenomenal. Not only is our daughter being helped but we are being given tools to help her which is pricelessBlue Balloon has made a tremendous difference in my daughter and our family life We cannot thank you enough

Working part time at Blue Balloon gave me the opportunity to gain experience in the mental health field while perusing my Social Work Masters Degree. The BCBAs and the office staff have been very supportive and guided me through my job responsibilities. The clinical team is super focused on the care of the children.
