Please dont go here. I was in the middle of treatment and my case worker up and left the program with no warning and no follow up. Then they lied about getting in contact with me MULTIPLE times so I completely had to withdraw my care. Now Im too traumatized to get more psychiatric help. Same thing happened to my friend case worker stopped calling and picking up calls mid care and no one followed up with her to transfer her care to someone else. St. Marys is a much better option. North County will act like they care then abandon you.

Took my father here recently and I expected more. We checked in and waited for about 30 minutes which wasnt bad. After calling our name they put us in a room with an iPad. We then talked to someone virtually on the iPad. In my opinion we could have done this from home..We did not see a doctor etc. They only suggested therapist or psychiatrist via psychology today website which we also couldve done ourselves.

I have been with bjcbh since 2019 and even though theyre constantly overworked and understaffed they care. They quite literally saved my life especially NP Kellerman my psychiatrist and Ms. Torbert my case worker.

I was told I would be able to talk with someone. They took my insurance and I had to pay to be referred to another site. Not much help

BJC has been one of the best places to help me with my recovery. They have caseworkers that go out of the way to help people. There is a pharmacy on campus and a lot of the appointments can be done via Teledoc services so its easier to make sure that you make it to all of your appointments. They have workforce services and a program that is in connection with the St Louis County Mental Health court for those people who might need more than just a a crisis intervention team. Other places like Places for People and whatnot dont work with the courts.

These people are very rude telling youyou are going to something Wether you want to are not. I WAS SEEKING HELP FROM THEM THREE YEARS AGO NOTHING NOW I TALKED TO SOMEONE ON PHONE THEY want to tell you and force you to do stuff you don t want to Im not a childIm a grown women. When people are talking to you like you are beneath them and they don t care I don t want them around me.

I cannot give this place enough stars Its so difficult to find a caring office but this place is exactly that caring. They couldnt accept me as a patient because of my insurance but instead of hanging up and leaving me to continue my fruitless search for healthcare the woman who answered my call took time out of her day to point me in the right direction. She gave me a recommendation for an office that might accept my insurance and talked with me about my options. She was just wonderful Anyone who has the option should go here they seem to truly care about their patients.
