About Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs

The Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs offers arts education programs for individuals with disabilities ages 3 to adult, including early childhood music classes for students ages 3-8, private music lessons for children and adults ages 9 and up, an iPad Ensemble for individuals ages 9 and up, the Inner Harmony Ensemble (chorus) for ages 9 and up, and a new rock band program for students ages 9 to adult, as well as adaptive dance programs. We offer professional development for teachers and others in the field, including an annual 2.5 day conference in April, workshops, consultations, and professional development study groups. We offer the only Master of Music in Music Education with an Autism Concentration in the world, and the only Graduate Certificate of Music Education and Autism in the world.
