Hi, I’m Jaharia Chatman-James, M.S., BCBA, the Founder and CEO of Behaviorally Ausome. I have been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for over five years and have worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for more than eight years. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University and my Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children ages 2 to 16, supporting a wide range of needs including intensive behavior reduction, skill acquisition, communication development, and social skills. I am passionate about providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based services that empower children and families. I pride myself on being a BCBA who strives to deliver services that are reliable, culturally responsive, and relatable, ensuring that families feel supported, understood, and confident throughout their child’s therapeutic journey.

Jaharia Chatman-James, M.S., BCBA, is the Founder and CEO of Behaviorally Ausome. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for over five years and has more than eight years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tuskegee University and her Master’s degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis, from Capella University.
Throughout her career, Jaharia has worked with children ages 2 to 16, supporting a wide range of needs, including intensive behavior reduction, skill acquisition, communication development, and social skills. She is deeply passionate about providing compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based services that empower both children and their families. Known for her thoughtful and intentional approach, she strives to deliver care that is reliable, culturally responsive, and relatable—ensuring families feel supported, understood, and confident throughout their child’s therapeutic journey.
