Great facility and staff. We love BI in Frisco

I cant recommend Behavioral Innovations to anyone. My son attended this location for 10 months without any issues. Then without any notice BIs billing department called to say my son was being suspended due to insurance not paying. We think we get the issue resolved and then he got suspended again. Now the day after we give our notice to terminate services my son gets suspended a 3rd time this time the billing dept tells me my son isnt in their insurance system so were not able to bill for services. I suspect BI is retaliating against us. Their billing dept sucks and they fail to communicate in a timely manner. All they care about is and not the people they serve. Furthermore you cant even get ahold of the billing manager. Multiple times I tried and had my insurance try and we kept getting met with shes in a training after having been placed on a not so brief hold. I should also add that they have had a very large turnover in the time weve been with them. Were on our 4th BCBA since we started in Nov 22.

Staff is really good

As a parent with a child on the autism spectrum I was nervous about sending my youngest to ABA therapy. Dealing with a kid with autism can be scary since you want the best and safest environment for them so that they can grow and be nurtured properly. Behavioral Innovations have been very helpful in guiding me with every step from testing to creating a great structure for my child so that they can learn and grow. I appreciate the staffs transparency and excitement on helping nurture my child. They have been great to work with and hope to continue this relationship.

We were very pleased with the attention given to our child and the progress he made. The BCBA was good and offered helpful direction and advice. The techs were good. Of course the kids each have favorites. There were a lot of different techs that worked with our child. We would have preferred a smaller number of them but it was still fine. There are a few unusual policies e.g. drop off and pick up and no notices from patient portal. Unfortunately the lack of messagesnotices for billing etc caused us to be billed for almost an entire year at one time. Ouch That is partially our fault because we did not notice and then call to inquire if we had an outstanding balance. However I actually wrote in my request for monthly notices of billing on our financial contract but it was not done. On the other hand communication about everything else was great. Just be aware.

Terrible experience would not recommend BI to anyone. They dont care about the patient and child progress and their billing practices are extremely shady. There are lots of hidden fees as private pay. They put the child to sleep for extended periods and bill a huge amount for it. They never explain nap timesleep charges and use jargon that is incomprehensible to the average person unfamiliar with ABA billing. They will ask you to give 30-day notice of service termination but they will stop the service anytime without any notice.

We toured a few ABA facilities in the area. This one was by far my favorite. The facility the staff the therapists. I have two sons who are neuro-divergent. I drop them off in the morning and I do not worry about them all day. Because I know they are in great hands. It is a great feeling to have as a mom.

I cant say enough about the staff at Behavioral Innovations in Frisco. They have been amazing with our son and we have seen so much growth over the past 5 months. They have loved and supported our family through this journey and have been super flexible with our schedule and individual needs. I highly recommend them

Autism was a foreign word and concept in our home. When we first heard you son is on the Autism spectrum right before he turned 3 we were initially heartbroken. Had no idea what that meant how he would be as a person how we could help support him etc. in April 2019 ABA therapy was added to my companys benefits. I started looking in the area for services and came across BIs Frisco flyer for their soon to be open clinic. Attended the open house and felt like I was walking into a warm environment filled with people who genuinely loved working with and treating children on the spectrum. While It was very overwhelming hearing everything initially on what treatment would consist of It was comforting to have been given hope. That our son will succeed and he will learn to adapt and regain those pieces that will help him catch up to neurotypical children his age. We will never be able to thank this location and alllll of the wonder RBT and BCBAs that have come across our sons path during his time at Frisco BI between August 2019 to August 2021 for everything they did for him. Their compassion love and perfection at their craft is evident in our sweet boy. It truly takes a village to raise a child in general but being a special needs parent this is especially true. We NEVER pictured our son thriving like this and being able to go into general Ed kindergarten let alone graduating out of ABA services. Thank you so much for caring for our child for loving him helping him grow teaching him soooooo many things building his confidence comforting him advocating for him and being so amazing. Youve changed our entire families life for the better. We couldnt have done this without you Such a bittersweet moment since Dominick wishes he could see you all daily for the rest of time. But Bowser has left the building.
