If you wanna start working here dont work under Karma Johnson. She does not care about the staff theres no praise no leadership trust any qualities you think a good manager should have she doesnt display. I was working on my second year there and the things keeping me there were the short commute the cool clients and the pay was decent but having karma as a manager doesnt make it worth it. Ask any current staff what they think about her as a manager and if anyone thinks opposite Ill retract my review.

Please do not work here this company is disorganized and everyone does whatever they want theres a reason why they have 3.3 stars. I started training with them last month and they have yet to pay me for my training hours. I intend to get a lawyer and sue them.

Ask them what their turnover rate is. You get a lovely 5 if you can make it just a year here.

I live next to their group homes. Workers are abusive and neglecting. They hit and push the kids and let the kids vandalize the other houses on my street. We have to call the cops frequently. And no one returns my calls when I report issues.

Opportunities for advancement within the company. Erica is an amazing manager. Her clients trust her and so does her staff. She makes her houses feel like family.

First week in and all you hear is current employees complain about how awful the work life is and that they all wanna quit. Youll never see your CPR certification. They arent even registered with any company we looked into the program they are supposedly certified to teach. They hire anyone even if theyve been fired for abuse or neglect after 6 months they welcome them back. They gave me and another coworker a wrong start date so we had to wait until a week later to start with no pay. In training no one knew what to do as if they havent ever trained people before. It was very unprofessional and you learn nothing. when you do reach out to management or even your supervisor expect no response from anyone. Expect to get beat up with little to no reimbursements if things are broken. You are left by yourself with students before even being pcm certified and even when you are they still leave you alone a lot then get screamed at instead of helped even though its not your fault or in your control. People leave for lunch and legit never come back to work again. Having had a lot of experience in this field I would highly suggest finding a better school.. trust me you wont last long at all and they dont care about employees and they sure dont care about students or clients. They sent a student from one of their group homes with MOLDY lunch just please find something better worth your time..

My two sons have been going to the early intervention clinic for years. The staff is like an extension of our family. I couldnt say enough good things about the program here. It is obvious that it isnt just a job to the staff here but their passion to help the little ones. They really get to know your child and individualize a plan to help them overcome their developmental delays. My children have come SO far while attending here. I am so confidant that when it comes time to enroll my boys in Kindergarten that KC Behavioral Health Early Intervention Clinic helped them with the social and ready to learn skills needed to be successful in the everyday life of a elementary school student.
