My child and I have been attending beacon pediatric behavioral health services for just over two years now. Our care has been specifically handled by Dr. Brittany Cannon who has been a complete lifesaver to my family. My DD has Combination ADHDADD In conjunction with an auditory to motor delay. When I tell you that not only my childsbut my life as well has done a complete 180 since starting regular therapy. Since my daughters diagnosis it has been a revolving door of Doctors due to the naval base. There was never any continuity of care and she did not have someone who closely monitored her case and development. We received a referral to Beacon Pediatrics and waited about 3 weeks For our first appointment. Since then Dr. Cannon has been an instrumental part of my daughters development. She has taken the time to work with my daughters School by attending IEP and 504 meetings via phone To advocate for my child and give her professional opinion on what the school should provide To help my child succeed within her education . Dr. Cannon addresses a wide range of coping mechanisms and adaptations to dealing with the lifestyle of this diagnosis. We are greeted each session with a smile and a warm presence. We have attended both the Belfort location and the Mandarin location and both Facilities have always maintained a clean and welcoming environment. During our sessions Dr. Cannon Is always actively listening to our concerns and offering fun and creative ways to help my daughter navigate her struggles. Dr. Cannon also offers advice to me as a mother on how to adapt my parenting to meet my childs needs while still making me feel confident as a parent. Dr. Cannon takes the time to listen to the concerns of my child and never belittles or negates my daughters feelings. She has plenty of sensory tools in her office to help my child safe and open to communicating. She also allows me to bring my toddler to my daughters appointments because I am a single mother And childcare is not always available to me. Dr. Cannon has sat on the ground with my children during numerous appointments and always treat my children to small prizes at the end of each session. What I thought would be a daunting task going to therapy twice a month turned into one of the highlights of our weeks. I highly recommend Beacon Pediatrics and more specifically Dr. Brittany Cannon To any and all of my friends whose childrens share the same Diagnosis as my child. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Brittany Cannon for all she has done for my family and will forever consider her as part of the family. Beacon ROCKS 1010s

We love beacon Thank you so much Dr DeSantis for accepting my son even though its only for a couple of months My son really loves going in there and he is always looking forward to see his RBT nisha. We saw some improvements on his behavior already even though its only been a few months. We are sad that we are leaving beacon next week due to military move but we will be forever thankful for all the help you did for our son.

My son and I love Beacon. They were able to fit us in the schedule very quickly other ABA centers have us on their wait list for almost a year now and counting. The therapists there are ALL so great and seem to truly care about us and the kids. My son has become more regulated and thriving since starting here 6 months ago. They have very good communication with us and I highly recommend.

The referralintake process feels like you are filling out a college application and the way they contact you to tell you your very anxious with a speech impediment child has not been accepted..is beyond bizarre. I am a mental health professional and this impersonal way of contacting parents of small children with needs is disappointing. I do not recommend this place especially if you are a parent who is having a hard time coping with their childs mental health needs
