I initially gave them five stars in a review but I unfortunately did that too soon. Brittany is an extremely knowledgeable Physical Therapist the problem is that I only saw her twice. My next several visits were with a student doing a co-op. He was very nice however he was still learning. I wouldnt have minded if Brittany asked me if I was okay with seeing a student and she was directly overseeing his work but she was with other patients or on the computer. I dont think that this was fair to me or the student. I also dont know how they can bill my insurance when I was being treated by an unsupervised and unlicensed PT student. If I ever have to see a PT again I will go to MGH - Waltham because they offer one-on-one treatment with a licensed Physical Therapist. If you get to see Brittany herself then I would rate them five stars. Thats nothing against the student the four stars are for how they run the business I wish that I knew that I was going to be seeing a student in advance and thats why I wrote this review to let others know beforehand.Follow-up Brittany did reach out to me and offered to rearrange her schedule so that I could see her directly and I appreciated that. And one of the owners responded nicely to my review explaining the students situation. Hopefully in the future they will let patients know if theyre going to be seeing a student instead of a licensed PT and let the patient decide beforehand.

Brittany has been caring for my daughter Karen for a few months now. I appreciated the interaction between the two on a regular basis. I have witnessed the gentle way she approaches my daughter and the degree of support and friendship she has offered. She knew how nervous Karen was and understood her level anxiety. After Karens first visit she was happy and was anxiety free. It was a relief knowing Karen was looking forward to her next appointment. During some of a Karens appointment she received Taylor Swift bracelet beads. She also was patient of the month and received a gift card which we viewed as extremely generous. Due to all of these kind gestures and Brittanys goal of making sure all of her patients feel comfortable and well informed about what to expect I decided to get my therapy from her. She is truly a asset to the company and we both consider her a friend. She cares and has made improvements in both our lives. We are truly indebted to her. We have told everyone about our experience every time the topic comes up. We will highly recommend her to our family and friends.

I worked with Brittany for several months and have gained a lot in strength and endurance. Rather than just learning a set of exercises spending more time with her enabled me to get over the exercises are useful but unpleasant stage to where now I dont mind daily exercise. Brittany is clearly a flexible and experienced therapist switching to another exercise that works the same muscle when needed. I would say that her special talent is for listening to the patient and deducing what specifically may be going on from the patients informal comments and from how they move when doing exercises. Also she is always friendly and kind.

Highly recommend Bay State Physical Therapy in Burlington. I broke my shoulder playing paintball. I had Bankart repair done on my shoulder and Mat did a magnificent job getting my shoulder mobility stability and strength back. The process took me around 6 months as prescribed.I am really grateful as I can go to the gym do other sports and enjoy life as I was able prior to the trauma.

As someone who has been visiting this clinic regularly for almost an entire year its easy for me to say that its become like a second home.I was a little nervous in the beginning after having negative experiences in the past but right from the start Kevin had a professional polite and positive attitude. From the initial evaluation till my last appointment he was very attentive and carefully listened to all my concerns and questions. From watching him with his other patients its clear that this is someone who deeply cares about his work. While I enjoy the hands on treatment of physical therapy I am SO thankful that Kevin has equipped me with numerous exercises I can perform at home complete with videos and written instruction and has given me the confidence and knowledge to take care of my own body. Speaking of knowledge Ive learned more from Kevin than I have in anatomy classes It makes me feel so safe to be working with someone who really understands the human body while also being super respectful and patient.Keri the lovely woman who works the front desk is such a gem Shes incredibly helpful with finding the appointments that work best with my busy schedule and is such a joy to talk to.Matt has been very helpful kind and informative throughout my healing journey as well and I always appreciate that he stops to ask me how my day was. From the few times Ive had Matt as my PT while Kevin was out Ive been given top notch treatment.Im not someone who wants to continue sustaining injuries....but Im really going to miss my Burlington State Therapy family. I would give this place 1110 stars and would absolutely recommend them to anyone

HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Bay State Burlington for your care plan. I recently had PT for cervical radiculopathy pinched nerve in my neck and am SO GRATEFUL for the help I received at Bay State. One of the top 5 pains I have experienced ever and it was constant until I started PT. This was my first experience with PT so I was not sure what to expect or if it would help. Keri sent me the paperwork right after I called and she got me an appointment that week. Seriously she is the bestAt the very first visit Kevin was able to find ways to ease the pain which was such a great relief From pain management to prevention Kevin is an EXPERT. I asked so many questions and Kevin was always able to answer every single one. He was able to explain everything in easy to understand terms and gave me guidance that I could follow on my own at home. I learned so much from Kevin and now I have the tools to help myself from preventing an injury like this from reoccurringEveryone at Bay State was super friendly every visit and I could tell they all really cared about my recovery.

I tore my ACL in February and had ACL reconstruction surgery in April of 2019. It was a tough time for me because I knew it meant I would be limited in the outdoor activities department for the near future and I love the outdoors. The time was made even more unpleasant by my first PT visit to a clinic I will leave nameless for now who told me Im dreaming if I thought Id be skiing this winter. That all changed when I decided to try a different physical therapist and met Matt at Bay State PT. He has such a vast array of knowledge in orthopedic therapy yet also a thorough depth of knowledge in each aspect as well. Immediately I was treated like I was a friend who he wanted to see recover as strong and safely as possible and he adjusted his approach to fit my specific timeline because he knows how important skiing is to me.Over the course of 4 months Ive seen all manner of clients trickle through the door young and old. They are all treated with the same respect care and professionalism that I am. Mat is current with his craft he takes pride in what he does and at the end of the day he delivers on his word. It isnt just Mat that makes Bay State PT so recommendable but the rest of the staff their too.Kerri is his office manager and she is always pleasant and eager to help fit you into an appointment that works for you. She also was super helpful with the insurance information when I signed up and emailed a form you could fill out ahead of time. Kevin is a PT that started recently and much like Mat has a learned thoughtful and results driven approach to his practice. While I am happy to put this injury behind me Im sad to leave the group of people that have helped me get back on my feet figuratively and literallyEven longer story short- I feel 100 confident in my knee after 4 months of PT and I know Im going to have a great winter season thanks primarily to the Bay State PT team. Very rare that I leave a review but this team is worth all of the praise they can get.
