Honestly I regret ever sending my son to Bank-bridge development center. This school will not follow an IEP THEY WILL GO AGAINST YOUR WISHES then tell you later. My son was undergoing GI issues they still tied my son to a chair aka Behavioral Managment. I also emailed the social worker at the school not to do so apparently you cant opt out so basically your IEP is worthless they will do what they want. I took my son out of here .I wish I did the year before when I witnessed an aide shake a child on a swing in the OT room I broke my neck to reflect what happened and well she did it again an said very mean to that child NO. They fired that aide and their excuse for that one was short staffed during the ESY program. This is a modern age mental institution not a school.Only good part of the school is their speech therapist occupational therapist.

If It werent for this school I would not be the person I am today. I have Autism and I went here when I was1 12 years old. I was taken out of this school at age 5 and my school life after that was utterly horrible. Years later when I was 13 I went to BankBridge Regional. BankBridge schools was the best thing that ever happened to me.Now I am 23 and I graduated from BBR in 2016. I found my way into the BDC PTO and I am now giving back to the place who made me.... MeI knew it was meant to be after I walked down a hallway and saw my picture hanging up on a wall.Everything Happens For A Reason. And If There Is No ReasonThan Its Destiny.
