Autism Care Therapy - Oak Lawn

I would start by saying this place from d start I never liked the idea of them saying hippa n dont let families in hippa is confidentiality which i dnt understand why they keep using d word .my child started not even two weeks came home with his spare pant wet d first time I ignore it.The second time he came home and his pant was soakedI called d place n spoke wit someone there and explain wat happen the first thing she said to me was that they dont perform daycare services and my child is non verbal how is he suppose to tell u he needs to be change she said we change them.i was pissed at d word they dnt perform daycare services and got upset and told her i will withdraw my child when i get another place and to my surprise she said i might as well discharge him n went ahead to tell d other person i want him discharge which i did not at that time.what I can tell anyone coming in here is dt look around before u make ur decisions some of dis staff members are not professional and might not fit in to work with specail need kids.Though I talk to someone dt apologize about the whole thing but this place has to do with kids and other parents needs to know about this.

I want to shine some light on some of the most wonderful caring and professional therapists I have ever encountered. Initially with this being my first child and my first introduction to autism I was afraid to leave me child with anyone besides myself. But after meeting with the staff specifically Sonia Hilliard who is the clinical coordinator at this facility it let me know my child would be in great hands and since that day me and my son have been so happy and he is so well taken care of. I suggest if you are looking at this facility 100 take your children here.

I had a great time working at ACT since the beginning. I gain a-lot of experiences and I was able to get my supervision hours completed.

Dont never trust to leave your kid with people who have no mercy on they heart they treat kids there like they treat dogs even dogs might get few kisses and hugs but my kid got nothing but bruise on his body

You really need to look at who you hire for your therapist for autistic kids. I had a relative who was just disgusted by your Autism Therapist in oak lawn Illinois. She has a attitude with my son and is not the nicest Female your company has sent to my families house plus she robbed my mom for money for tow truck bills and she refused to give her the bill because I was not there. She actually owes me 250 cash and I was wondering if I can come pick it up from her work. She hides from me and made me lose my job to. Michelle Mitchell

Therapists here really care about their clients Doaa is the best. My son has shown tremendous improvement with her... I cant thank her enough

My daughter has been going here for a little over a year now. I cant say theyve always been the most organized when it comes to communication from the uppers but its better now My daughter has also gone through at least 4 different BCBAs and Ive never been told why. However they were all very nice and some have attended IEPs with us which was nice. Her newest BCBA Rania is also very sweet. I asked to meet with her to go over all of my daughters new goals. She spent over an hour with me and thoroughly answered all of my questions. The one thing that has remained constant is her RBT Ms. Bri whom we love and appreciate more than she knows. Shes always there to get my daughter off the bus and stays in contact if shes not going to be in that day. She is very open to our schedule and is extremely understanding when we have last minute changes. My daughter has learned so much working with Ms. Bri and enjoys going to see her. Ms. Bri is always so kind and has a heart of gold. Sonia has also been great as shes very helpful and things have been much smoother since shes taken over. Communication has gotten much better. Also- If I didnt trust that my daughter was safe she wouldnt be going here period. Thankful for all the staff who fill in and work with my daughter as well when Ms. Bri isnt present. Everyone shes worked with so far weve never had complaints.

I cannot begin to sing the praises of this clinic. When my son was first diagnosed I was scared and unsure on what my next steps needed to be to ensure he received the best care and guidance. And Im proud to say that under the watchful eyes of his BCBA Sarah and his two therapists Trinity and Wendy he has flourished in the short time hes been there.

Manal Nofal is the best Therpist and everyone that works there there all awesome and very caring awesome team to work with.
