Atrium Health Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics of the Carolinas

I was disappointed. I was completely understanding when they were packed full and we had to wait. I was completely understanding when they didnt do bloodwork or any testing and just explained why they felt he was okay without any of that. However what I wasnt okay with is when I was promised an extensive write up and care plan and did not receive it upon leaving. I was very disappointed with no detailed instructions on how to resolve the issue that brought me to the ER with my child to start with.

SCHEDULING HAS GOTTEN MUCH BETTER AND EASIER TO REACH SOMEONE.This is a Great place and very nice people working there. Dr harsh has been awesome. He always listens and is very friendly. He knows how to talk to my son and understands him. It is very important for my son to trust his doctor. And for him to feel comfortable with him. Thank you for helping. We have been searching for a doctor that could help my son since 2yrs old. My son was 8 beginning here and now 10 and they have done well and not given up on him 8.and im grateful we found you. Thank you for being great at what you do.. This is an awesome place.

Everyone on the pediatric side has been wonderful. They communicate daily listen to my concerns and are very thorough. Everyone has been super nice to us as well.

I wanted to share the absolutely heartbreaking experience weve had or didnt have with this practice. Parents waiting on a diagnosis can understand our frustrations. Weve been on a waiting list and been told we cant be seen for one reason or another for a handful of practices. We finally get a referral to this place and they give us an appointment for 1042023. We have been looking forward to this appointment for months now since we were put on the waiting list back in July because life with our 5 year old is hard...especially when we do not have the resources to help him without a diagnosis.We have been on a waiting list since JULY. It took us 2 weeks just to get the woman who schedules appointments to answer our calls. Today this same woman calls two days before our appointment to tell us that we cant be seen since we live in South Carolina. Shes had THREE WHOLE MONTHS to call us and let us know but chose to wait until today. Thats three months wasted that we could have been on a waiting list elsewhere. Her excuse was Well we thought maybe youd eventually move to North Carolina even though the intake paperwork and referral had our SOUTH CAROLINA address listed and has since it was sent to them in July. Disappointing and unprofessional. I suggest if you are looking for any practice to provide any sort of help look elsewhere. This one clearly does not value your time nor do they understand how badly some families are struggling with the wait times and lack of resources.

I have been going to this Dr office since my son was 3 and hes 16 now..I love Dr.Noone and her staff. Every time I come there I get a warm welcome. With the app I get flexibility when if I need to reschedule his appointment order his medication and sending Dr.Noone a message. I would recommend this office to everyone

My sons appointment went well as always. The nurses and doctors there are awesome sauce They make sure you have your questions answered and your child is taken care of. I will continue to work with them for years to come.

Dr. Stegman has an outdated understanding of Autism and has questioned both of my kids Autism diagnoses because they smile and respond to their names. Dr. Hatley better understands ASD and provides great support to families with Autism. I wish Dr. Stegman would get updated training on Autism or that you did not have to see him to establish your child as a patient with Developmental and Behavioral Peds.

The therapist are knowledgeable and willing to assist with care. We know there are numerous clients and the caregivers are working within timeframes. Overall the experience has been great. Thanks for your willingness to serve and provide care.

Dr. Stegman was very personable and showed he cared about my daughter and her delays. After telling him my concerns he asked questions and explained his results in a manner I could actually understand. He even got my nonverbal usually mean toddle to smile while dining to her Experience was great no complaints Everyone was very nice and respectful I would recommend this Dr. and establishment 1010

Always very cordial. They never rush your appt. The doctor will answer all of our questions about our grandsons diagnosis. Gives us plenty of info an explains in detail in a way we understand. My grandson likes going there. He is made to feel comfortable. All the staff are very professional and personable. We cant say enough good things about Atrium.
