I met with Michelle 10 years ago. I did not find AANE particularly useful. I wasnt interested in the pizza and game nights so I only met with her once or twice. The office staff repeatedly misgendered me and eventually I sought a life coach elsewhere. At the time my primary diagnosis was NVLD. AANE slapped the Aspergers label on me though they admitted I didnt meet the typical profile. In my case it turned out to be a misdiagnosis. I have OCD which mimics a lot of the symptoms of ASD.

A good place to find someone to help you get your young adult who was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome. A start to independent living and other resources.

Dedicated staff who all work their hardest to improve the lives of people on spectrum. They offer many services both group oriented and individual that can assist people on spectrum in self reflection advocacy and self awareness.
