Ashutosh Raina, MD, is the board-certified pediatric neurologist at Center of Excellence in Pediatric Neurology, which has locations in Rocklin and Sacramento, California. After earning his Doctor of Medicine and completing his internship at Pune University/NDMVP Samaj Medical School in Nashik, India, Dr. Raina relocated to the United States to complete his pediatric residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. With a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of those he cares for, Dr. Raina moved to Detroit to complete his pediatric neurology residency, along with his fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology, at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Though skilled at managing all pediatric neurological conditions, his specialties include epilepsy syndromes, refractive epilepsy, headaches, concussions, autism, and developmental disorders. When asked why he chose his profession, Dr. Raina responded, “The idea of caring for a sick child, and being able to improve that child’s life, is very gratifying…The first step in making a difference is a successful relationship with patients and their families. You want a doctor who's on your side, no matter what the circumstance.”
