When we were faced with the reality of our daughter needing to be assessed and potentially diagnosed for autism we discovered what millions of families do The wait can be up to a year or even more. Our daughter was 3 going on 4 and so every second mattered. I didnt settle for As You Are...they were everything we could have asked for and more. Within a few months of my initial contact we had a diagnosis and a care coordination team to help us as we found the right fit for the therapy and help my daughter needed. Its been a over a year and we still havent heard from any of the local facilities that we registered with and without As You Are my daughter wouldnt be the happy successful Pre-K student she is today I highly recommend As You Are to anyone in need of guidance or help with a diagnosis because there was never a moment where I didnt have a team of professionals ready and willing to help. This process can be scary and lonely but not with As You Are.

As You Are has been a GODSEND We are currently still on a waiting list for my son Aaron to be evaluated Aaron is now 9 years old and this process was started 3 years back. As you are has made it so efficient for him to get the diagnosis he so desperately needed I was able to get him an appointment within 2 weeks with Tracy Burton 3 weeks following that he was diagnosed. we are now beginning his ABA Speech and Occupational therapy. All of this was also covered with our health insurance. We now have a sidekick RaeAnn and shes amazing. Shes been so helpful faxing over his IEP sending his referrals and so much more. Im super happy with my decision and I hope this can help other parents who are in need

I was absolutely amazed at how amazing the experience was I just knew my son was Autistic and the waiting list is so long everywhere. He is 10 years old now and they are so equipped on helping you through the whole process. They help with referrals the next steps therapy and they are quick. They help send papers you may need for and IEP for the school as well. They have great bedside manner and listen to you as well.

I have been trying to get my son evaluated for years. Within 3 weeks of first seeing an advertisement for As You Are we had a diagnosis covered by our health insurance. His Doctor was so kind compassionate and knowledgeable. We also recieve monthly appointments with his care coordination specialist who found us the additional therapies needed relayed the information to his pediatrician and took a lot of the stress out of finding him the best care possible. I highly recommend As You Are. Everyone Ive spoken to has been extremely professional incredibly supportive caring and exceedingly qualified to do such important work.

AsYouAre is absolutely amazing. I couldnt be more thankful for all of the help and support Ive received since working with them and the professionals they team up with. Thank you for taking the time to walk the parents through every single step. Before we started our AsYouAre Journey I felt very alone hopeless and helpless. I was told by my childs pediatrician that it could take anywhere from 12-24 months for my son get a diagnosis and AsYouAre gave us one in under 5 months. I seriously love this company and the way they help families achieve all of their goals for your childchildren. Thank you AsYouAre. I cant tell you enough how much youve done for me and my son. Thank you all.

My son was diagnosed in GA autistic twice age 4 and again evaluated at age 7 12. Both times in person hours worth of paperwork and in person evals. Both times with different psychiatrists. As you are spent literally 15 minutes talking to my son and said hes not autistic. I was blown away by such a non thorough process and quick lack of diagnosis and understanding. Was literally told hes not on the spectrum I think if your child is high functioning and not flapping their arms or spinning in circles youre going to get a false diagnosis. Do yourself a favor and add yourself to wait list for a proper diagnosis. I have stacks of paperwork to prove my sons autism. Was only needing this because PA requires a PA diagnosis for therapy but honestly now I know why there was no wait time for this company. Seek answers else where if your child has never been evaluated

This is a good concept but in reality if the doctor doesnt see all the signs In the 15 minute video chat with your child then they can not diagnose. After paying 1400 out of pocket for the consultation screening and results I was told that my son probably needed an in person appointment. So we are back to square one.

Easy to schedule good customer service. BUT be aware of outdated beliefs and attempting to take shortcuts. He had a 30 minute virtual assessment not enough time or information and the doctor said she felt that he met all categories except one because she said he talks and seems social he was comfortable with his parents and Autistic people DO crave relationships- its an inaccurate outdated and harmful idea that they dont seek out connection.

Before finding As You are my grandson was on a wait list that took us out about a year .His preschool picked up on things that was brought to my attention and I also had concerns of my own. They were hoping he could be seen an evaluated before the next school year so that they knew how to help him going forward. Waiting that long for an appointment it felt helpless. I went searching and I came across As You Are. I read the many parent reviews looked into their site and how they did their evaluations and I was confident with what I discovered. I cant thank them enough for helping get to the bottom of things.Getting an appointment was fast the evaluation and follow-up were done in a timely fashion. My grandson had his diagnosis within a month. They offered lots of help in resources where to go from there if your child has autism. I cannot thank them enough for helping point us in the right direction and and Id recommend them to anyone.I am now confident going forward in my grandsons next year of school knowing what we know now and where to go from here.Thank you As You Areand Dr. Christine.

I used the services for my grandson who is having a lot of issues in school in high stimulation areas. He uses headphones at school to block the noise and has a lot of issues form the stimulation throughout the day. He has trouble in social situations loud environments does not understand jokes or sarcasm as well as he shuts down when overstimulated to the point that the teacher has to physically remove him from situations. What you need to know about this service is that if you have child who is atypical and higher functioning this service is not likely to be useful as the actual evaluation observing him was approximately 30 minutes of talking in a controlled environment from within your home. Fo us it did not work out so I will need to continue to seek in person services which are a much more lengthy process. The physician Marisa Quattrone was nice but I cannot recommend the service for anyone who has a child that is higher functioning atypical and does not fit into the typical autistic box. His evaluation summary states While there are concerns about XXXXXX development and behavior he did not showsignificant signs of ASD on observation.Keep in mind that not all children are significantly impaired which is why there is a spectrum. I paid out of pocket for the services because my grandson does not have insurance and it was not cheap. I paid over 1000 and we still do not have a diagnoses to help us. Just something to keep in mind depending on your circumstances. This review reflects our experience with the services.
