I dont know why everyone loves this guy. Ive always found him very rude and unapproachable. He majorly upset my son today and shame on me for not being more vocal about it at the time but I was caught off guard. He also brushed off my questions about testing for ASD a few of years ago because he thinks that for people with high functioning autism a diagnosis does more harm than good because then they are ostracized and it doesnt make a difference and that there was no point in doing any testing. He could not be more incorrect on that. I should have switched practitioners then needless to say now we will absolutely not be returning to this office.

Dr. DePala is not only a great clinician but hes got a bedside manner not often found in the world of pediatric medicine. He always makes sure my kids are comfortable by explaining the details and information of his assessment and treatment plan in a manner they understand clearly. He is open to their questions and that insures that they leave without feeling confused or scared. Above all else his compassion for their health is something that can only come from the heart.
