Actual prison cant get up and move for 6 hours unless gotta use the restroom cant talk about your problems cause its too triggering to talk about anything but sunshine and rainbows practically no one-on-one time besides them checking in for five minutes every day make sure you arent a danger to yourself or someone else. If you need to talk about your problems get real help this is not the place for you. I got outed as transmasc to my mother the first day I walked in the door name and everything. Theyre here to turn profit they dont care about you and wont try to help.

Nicole is the bestest ever. She is very knowledgeable and super friendly. I never had a bad experience when interacting with her. The other employees could learn a thing or two from her

The actions undertaken by Kathy F Pickett and the CEO of Arbour Counseling Services can be characterized as unethical and potentially criminal in nature from a moral perspective. Involuntarily dismissing a patient without following protocols and fraudulently billing for services not rendered is unethical and potentially criminal because it goes against the principles of patient-centered care and violates the trust placed in healthcare providers. When a patient seeks treatment they are in a vulnerable position relying on healthcare professionals to provide appropriate care and support. Involuntarily dismissing a patient without following proper protocols disregards their well-being and can cause harm by interrupting their treatment plan and potentially exacerbating their condition.Fraudulently billing for services not rendered is fraudulent behavior that can lead to financial harm for both the patient and the healthcare system. It also erodes trust in the healthcare industry and undermines the integrity of the billing process.Sectioning a patient under false pretenses is a serious violation of the rights of the individual. Sectioning refers to the involuntary detention of a person under mental health legislation. Doing so under false pretenses deprives the patient of their autonomy and may subject them to unnecessary psychiatric intervention or confinement. These behaviors pose significant dangers to the patient. They can result in a disruption of their treatment emotional distress financial harm and a loss of trust in the healthcare system. It is crucial that healthcare providers adhere to ethical standards and follow protocols to ensure the safety well-being and rights of their patients.

Caring staff. Comforting facility. Arbour gave my teen tools to slow the vicious cycles of anxiety and get back on track. Thank you

Update its now 2023 and theres a new director for a couple of years now.I have to be honest and say this place has gone downhill. They barely offer groups and most of them are on Zoom which in my opinion is so impersonal. I switched my pharmacy for the first time in over 10 years and they havent updated my chart so my psychiatrist sent my meds to the wrong pharmacy. This might not sound like a big deal but I use medminder a mailing service and all my meds come prepackaged by dose so having to pick up certain meds in a bottle and put them in each little container for a month or two defeats the purpose of having them prepackaged for me. If youre just looking for a therapist and not groups or a psychiatrist then you will probably be okay here but it youre like me and need more help than that you will be at a loss. My therapist is great so I wont leave but I thought they have declined enough update my review.

Adult PHP is a complete joke. Zero one on one time. They told me Id get to talk with a psychiatrist about meds and that never happened. I told them daily that I was struggling with substance issues and that was never addressed even once. The staff all seemed very inexperienced. DO NOT waste your time here. Wish I never went I was hoping this program would help me as I struggled but I ended up in a worse position than when I entered. If youre not a talkative person expect to go the 6 hours without saying a single word. Unbelievable and this is a shame to call themselves a mental health program.

My teenager went to Arbour for two weeks after a suicide attempt. She seemed to do well enough in the beginning although I later found out she wasnt allowed to fully discuss her issues because they cant talk openly about suicide in group and she didnt seem to be terribly engaged with her individual therapist. Towards the end of her two weeks she was really engaging in risky behavior. When I asked if she could continue in the program I and was told a day before the two weeks would be up that they would look into it for me. The next day however I was basically told to go to the emergency room if things got bad goodbye and good luck. They cheerfully discharged her that afternoon. I was also told Kenna would get me some information on other programs as a next step but I never heard from her again. Frankly the whole experience was depressing and useless. If you are a parent with an at risk teen Id keep looking.

Those 5 star reviews are fake no chance someone called and a receptionist answered. The phone system is an automated nightmare but thats beside the point...My daughter was referred there for the adolescent partial program. Kenna was completely incompetent. My phone number was all over the paperwork yet she called the wrong number for days after the intake. When they decided to discharge my daughter after day 2 with no discussion with me she said she called me numerous times and left messages. She called my daughters cell phone and left a message there with the reasons she would be discharged.People are in one of the hardest points in their lives when they get referred to Arbour and the staff there exploit the mental vulnerability of children. Arbour is everything thats wrong with the American mental health system rolled into one incompetent miserable self-righteous nightmare.

This place is horrible. I went here for 3 days last year for depression. The staff there dont care about the kids there. I feel like they are there just for the money my opinion. When u go there youre stuck in the same room for 6 hours until your ride comes. The staff dont give u youre space. When u arrive all of your belongings are locked in a closet and phones locked in a draw. The tutor is honestly the nicest person there tbh. The food is good but other than those two things I listed its bad. I dont advise anybody going here unless you like all the things I listed from above.
