This has to be the worst counseling service I have dealt with ever If you use this service you must call a week ahead of time for medications but be prepared to be accused of abusing your medications for calling early like I was. The following month I waited till the day my medication was due and then had to wait another 4 days without any medication and so far this month its 5 to 6 days. I understand they must be very overwhelmed by how the things are today plus they are understaffed. I am currently 5 days overdue on getting my prescriptions filled and they told me they wouldnt fill them until we had a phone consultation and they would get back to me most likely either today or tomorrow. No one should have to wait this long for bipolar medication and or ADHD medication. What do I need to lock myself in my house If I snap I am going to have my attorney eat them alive. They know of the misunderstanding and are doing absolutely nothing about it which 9 me how much they care about my well-being. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

This is an EXCELLENT place They are compassionate lots of good information friendly people leading and assisting in the sessions etc. When I was at my lowest one of the staff sat down with me and helped me out of that dark place. All my interactions with those doing the programs or the one who I think is the boss are all great people and I have heard and seen from others in my group the positive results from participating in the program. I grew up in Haverhill and it was good to get back to it also. I am looking forward to the rest of my time there. What a blessing when I needed it whether your religious or not blessing is the right word for me to use

Hear me out. Arbour isnt fantastic. Most of the time when we go to a program for mental health were in a bad way. When I received treatment back in November - December I was angry. I hated the classes hated going there but I kept doing it. I opened up and after a few weeks I made some friends in group and was able to work with my therapist as well as the program to stabilize me and in retrospect they helped me maybe not the best. But the counselors tried hard to help and listened to my concerns and complaints. The day program gives you structure and a safe place to talk about addiction suicidal thoughts and all of the things you cant talk about with others. So yeah I can see why the one star reviews are here its rough. I think its a good start and despite the staff being underpaid they care if you show up and do the workwant to get better.

In all honesty this is legit the third to forth time this has legit happened to me. Where Ive run out of my medication and now Im about to go a week maybe two without medication and I dont understand how my body is supposed to get used to a med or help me if my doctor isnt calling on my schedule day and isnt giving me enough for it to last and Ive asked for a new med doctor that actually wants to help me but I get no response . I tell her sometimes I have to take it 3 time a day because its as needed but she doesnt increase it

I went there originally to get help with abuse Im dealing with. By the time they did their sorting hat routine by a very disorganized person who had me sit there during my time while they learned how to work their phone causing me to have to return again I was diagnosed with cancer. I had immediate surgery coming up around my counseling appointment. My therapist called and bugged me to come in before for a pep talk etc. Then proceeded to tell me about her own surgery and gaslit me about myself trying to talk. Overall I left feeling much worse than when I started with them. Would NOT recommend. Find somewhere better. My .02

Arbour PHP in Haverhill should be shut down. They frame themselves as a dual diagnosis program they are not and they know it. They used one worksheet that they handed out three different times to go over addiction. That was the extent of the addiction help they provided. Most of the clinicians are incredibly unprofessional. A clinician who I wont name made a point of telling us how they have been winging it for every single program and it shows. Not to mention he would spend 20 minutes of our 45 minute program going over his trip to comic con. We repeat lessons EVERY SINGLE DAY.I spent more time on break than I did in program not an exaggeration. Save yourself the mental stress and pick another program. We all deserve to get the mental health help we need you wont find it at Arbour.

I have been going to Arbour Counseling for almost 30 years. My psychiatrist retired and now I have an NP handling my medications. And she is weaning me off my anxiety panic attacks and I also was diagnosed with PTSD. This NP does not return your calls even if you call ahead 2 weeks to say your low. I ran out and was very upset. Looking for a real psychiatrist. Anyone know of one I had the best as qexperience with my psychiatrist and she cared and asked me questions about things and how my life was going. Now its the worst experience I ever had. I need to get out of there but Im stuck with this uncaring NP until I find a psychiatrist someone who really cares about my needscall 2 weeks ahead of time to say your getting low. I ended up running out and felt like

Started going to a therapist there in August 2018. Judy is a very nice non judge mental person. Ashley the nurse practitioner who prescribes meds is also a great person to work with. However things took a turn for the worse in my mental health and I had to be hospitalized. Thankfully I was sent to the Partial Hospitalization Program at Arbour Counseling in Haverhill once I was discharged. I think I have about 3 days left in the program and it has been so helpful. Ive been able to work on my coping skills theyve been helping with my meds and also with case management. The PHP not only provides care to the patients but they also provide transportation and food The only reason this is getting 4 stars and not 5 is because the parking situation isnt the best and the prescriptions are all done by paper. They dont really do anything electronically which can be concerning but I learned to deal with it.

Horrible So unprofessional. The building is decrepit falling apart. The workers and therapists all look and act like homeless drug addicts. The paper work is always lost. The medications never filled. I have filled a HIPPA violation the therapists do not respect privacy they talk about all your issues to anyone and everyone. The therapists are so cruel evil insensitive and it was just the worst experience ever. I switched to a new clinic after 2 months.

Attended the partial hospitalization program for 2 12 weeks--Excellent staff therapists groups and environment. I feel very safe and supported. As a teacher I am extremely picky about how groups both small and large are run. I was very pleased and left with a wealth of new knowledge and strategies.
