This school is borderline abusive and at best negligent. They knowingly allow children to infect everyone with bedbugs. They are aware the infestation is spreading and they do nothing to deal with it. I was warned directly not to send my child here because it seems every other day someones coming home with some type of bugs or illness. My neighbors kid came home with lice multiple times. Not to mention the place is disgusting. Very shady behavior.

Our autistic grandson was receiving therapy at the West Chester location for about six weeks. Last week a therapist initiated a meltdown which the therapist was then unable to control. Our grandson was then locked in a 5 x 5 seclusion room. I had not been told the therapist would be initiating a meltdown during therapy. Our family also had no knowledge of the seclusion room. I had to insist the door of the seclusion room be unlocked. My grandson fell to my feet sobbing and screaming. I was able to walk him to my car never to return again. The following day the director lied to my daughter about the incident saying the door had not been locked. I saw the locked latch. My grandson and our family are suffering greatly from the ineptitude of ABS employees. My grandson has run away from his school twice since the incident. He is in fifth grade and had never done that. He was having great days at school previous to this incident. After the second run away from school he was taken to Childrens Hospital to be evaluated. He is now having trouble sleeping having nightmares and will not be able to finish the school year due to his distress. His psychiatrist has now put him on medication that is for abuse victims. I would never send a child to ABS with the knowledge I have now
