About Anne Zolla / Freedom Riders Equestrian
Freedom Riders: a therapeutic equestrian experience Horseback riding takes you into an unexplored world that provides a sense of independence and freedom. Equestrian therapy offers unique benefits in an authentic ranch setting that cannot be achieved through traditional forms of therapy. The saddle is our desk, the ranch is our classrom. At Freedom Riders, our programs are catered to each client's specific needs. All exercises, games and techniques stimulate both mind and body, producing remarkable and proven results that include improvements in mobility, balance, coordination, communication, behavior control, concentration and overall confidence. Freedom Riders, located on over two acres in Topanga Canyon with magnificent views, is a private equestrian program founded by Anne Zolla, MSW and PATH (formerly NAHRA) -certified, and is one of the only permanent therapeutic riding facilities serving both West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Freedom Riders has been successfully using horses to help children and adults reach greater potential since 2008
