Introduction
Hi, I’m Ani, a speech-language pathologist with a passion for helping individuals communicate in ways that are meaningful to them. I have experience supporting AAC users, early intervention clients, and individuals with speech, language, and social communication challenges. I hold a Graduate Certificate in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) from San Francisco State University, equipping me to provide culturally responsive AAC services. My therapy approach is functional, engaging, and tailored to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and interests—because communication should be both effective and enjoyable!
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Individualized
Engaging
Inclusive
I would describe myself as individualized, engaging, and inclusive. I take an individualized approach to therapy, ensuring that each session is tailored to the specific needs, interests, and learning styles of my clients. I strive to make therapy engaging by incorporating fun, functional activities that keep children motivated and involved in their communication journey. Above all, I am inclusive, recognizing that communication looks different for everyone and ensuring that every individual—whether verbal, nonverbal, or an AAC user—feels valued and supported in expressing themselves.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve children and individuals who need support with AAC, early intervention, speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, and social communication challenges. I have experience working with individuals with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), and other developmental differences. My goal is to provide therapy that is both functional and fun, ensuring that communication skills are not only learned but also meaningful in everyday life. I tailor each session to my client’s unique needs, creating a supportive and effective learning environment.
