Amherst PT is great Kurt knows so much about the mechanics of the human body Kurt provides great information and therapy as well as realistic exercises and stretches for homework. Most importantly he gets good results and strives to avoid surgical intervention when possible.

I had an excellent experience at Amherst Physical Therapy with very skilled therapists. I feel that my quick recovery in walking without pain was due to the careful choice of excercises and therapy in a progression that was not faster than my knee was ready to handle and its a real bonus that either Kurt or Kelsey helped me with ideas to make almost every excercise one that I can duplicate at home so I can maintain my progress this time. Both Kurt Bergeron and Kelsey Hopper were impressive.

Kurt and Dave are the knee rehab dream team. I had an ACL repair with meniscus removal and I had basically forgotten how to walk by the time I saw them 3 weeks later. Kurt got my range of motion back faster than I anticipated and working on strength and flexibility. Half the battle with this surgery is restoring confidence in your own knee and I couldnt have had a better team by my side to assist. Both Kurt and Dave were great with getting me out of my comfort zone and challenging my belief in my own ability to improve my functionality further than I thought I could go after this surgery. Im almost 12 weeks post op and I couldnt be happier with the results.

Kurt knows how to rehab a person at just the right intensity so they make progress without pain. My family has been going to him for all sorts of conditions over the years including post surgical and non surgical. Hes truly talented in his craft and just an all around pleasant person too.

I have been a patient of Kurts at Amherst Physical therapy for nearly a decade. He and his staff have helped me recover from several back injuries and subsequent surgeries and taught me how to live with my spine as it is now and not how it was before. I am forever thankful for the outstanding care I have received

I went to APT and Kurt for biceps tendonitis in my shoulder and would never go anywhere else for my future PT needs. Kurt was fantastic with the in-person and at-home aspects of my PT the exercises were designed to be easily done at home with very little to no added expense and on completion he prepared a maintenance plan so hed never have to see me again At least not if I do my work...

I have enjoyed my PT sessions. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. They explain what they are doing and often even make it fun to do the hard stuff.

Ive been coming to Amherst Physical Therapy for a number of issues related to disability. Kurt and the other physical therapists Ive seen consistently foster a friendly and personable atmosphere. In the last year or so Ive been particularly impressed with Dave. He has consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge of my condition and creativity in the exercises and other treatment modalities hes given me. His use of dry needling for my shoulder gave me amazing and much-needed relief from the worst of my shoulder problems. Additionally his steadfast encouragement and support helped me gain the confidence I needed to push the limits of my standing and walking abilities. This experience has changed my outlook on maintaining my physical health and motivation in the best possible ways.

I have visited Amherst Physical Therapy in the past for back issues.Recently I broke my right collarbone in 2 places. After initial healing of the break I knew if I wanted to golf again soon I needed to visit Amherst PT. It was the right choice to make. Thanks Kurt for getting my shoulder and arm strength back. And thanks to Dave for treatment on my past back issues.
