Amen Clinics New York Metro Area

We have been working with Amen Clinics for over a year for both of our daughters and have found it to be an incredibly insightful and supportive process. The evaluationintake process is extensive and thorough. The ongoing treatment and support is key. They really stay with you once you are given your treatment plan with several follow up appointments and one on one care. I dont feel rushed and appreciate that I can ask as many questions as needed. I also like that they approach the patient from a holistic point of view taking into consideration all the aspects of ones life and try to address any health issues naturally before they might prescribe medication. We have been working with Dr. Romanelli and have been having a very positive experience with him. He is generous and thoughtful. As a parent I also appreciate his sound advice complete with additional resources like articles and books for reference. I highly recommend him and Amen Clinic.

I cannot express enough how incredible the Amen Clinic in NYC was and has been with us. My son has ADD diagnosed only two years ago he is 20 yo. Unfortunately he was using a stimulant prescribed by a non holistic psychiatrist which for his type of ADD was causing too many side effects. The medicine was exacerbating his symptoms. Meeting Dr. Grin at Amen was life changing and proposed an alternative treatment holistic encompassing life style changes from nutrition to healing treatments hypnosis meditation and a huge array of supplements for brain health. Understanding how the brain operates and what really is going on was again life changing for my son and for me the mother and his father. The support and help provided was almost immediate caring compassionate efficient effective. We are still in the midst of trying the Amen Clinic proposed treatment and already I see huge improvements. Above all the sense of relief and peace that we finally experience as a family particularly my son means the world to us. Thank you to all the staff at Amen Clinics particularly to Dr. Grin.

This place is a racket. Totally dishonestI scheduled an appointment and then read some very thoughtful reviews about Amen Clinics that were quite revealing. I called the NYC Office during normal business hours 945AM to cancel but they had a non-working hours message on so could not speak to anyone. I ended up calling the 800. I did this all in line with their policy. During my cancellation call I confirmed that they would be refunding me the 500.Fast forward several months. Just caught that they never refunded me the 500 deposit. I called the 800 number and they not only told me they were not going to refund me but they attempted to reference a policy that was not in line with what I have been informed of when I was considering.I am getting my money back through my CC now and thankfully I have evidence of their policy but wow if this is how they treat potential patients stay away far away

They sound so salesy on the phone. I could not book an appointment. Its less like medicine more like buying a car.Felt so fast-talk now pay 7k. It was weird and lacked heart.

This place is a scam. I paid 500 for the initial consultation. My daughter went to one more appointment after that. It took 5 minutes and they were done....

I do not usually give reviews but I felt compelled to let folks know my experience.The package of services including the scans cost close to 5000.00. Having listened to many of Dr Amen videos I was under the impression I was signing up for a wholistic process. Instead what we got was a hard-core psychiatrist who can care less about the scans and just suggested a change in medication based on a test on a test result that I happened to have handy.This is what I just forked out 5000.00 of my hard-earned cash for. I feel I was scammed.I am happy for those folks that got a comprehensive treatment plan. Perhaps Dr Amen is a wholistic doctor would use the scan to create a treatment plan. This was not my experience at this office.

IF I COULD GIVE 100 STARS I WOULD Once or maybe twice in a lifetime could anyone be blessed enough to come to World Class facility that compares to the Amen Clinic. From the moment I was warmly and professionally greeted by Joshua M. I knew I was somewhere special. He helped me along as it is difficult to follow directions with a Traumatic Brain injury and he did not miss a beat and always kept the patience of a Saint. I then met Dr Zana Debroshi that came up with a safe effective treatment plan for my particular issues. My concerns and challenges were addressed professionally with the care and concern at all times. From scheduling to treatment any difficulty found Joshua there to make it go away and make it a distant memory. There is not enough space to give a case by case compliment but I will say I highly recommend the Amen clinic for anything to do with brain related issues.SincerelyLambros Vassiliou

I found my way to Amen Clinic NYC after acquiring a brain injury from being hit by a car. This happened in Vermont where there is a scarcity of expertise in evaluating or treating brain injury. After months of futile effort to get help other than making it on to the 1-2 year waiting list at the states one facility I went to Amen Clinic who made it easy to get fully evaluated diagnosed and provided with a comprehensive treatment plan. The care support and expertise I received from the doctors and staff at Amen was a blessing. My only regret is that I didnt seek them out immediately. In my opinion they are the best and maybe the only option for someone with an acquired brain injury.

Amen clinic saved me from some dark place. My mental health has been much healthier and better after visiting this clinic. I have been following Dr. Amen for a few years. Thats why I went to this clinic in Manhattan having that faith that my mental health will be improved. And after visiting yes its improving tremendously. The only thing I am little disappointed is the cost. Its little pricey. I know all the staffs have to be paid but its still little pricey. I strongly believe that many people in US who are struggling mentally have avoided medical help because they could not afford the cost. I hope this will be considered by the authority of not only this clinic but by the country too

Dr.Lowe is very caring intelligent thoughtful and precise. There arent enough stars in the sky for Dr. Lowe. His level of experience really shows during our appointments. He always lends a listing ear which is very important to me. It shows that he cares about my thoughts and ideas. Hes working with me and we work as a team. I am very blessed to receive care from Dr. Lowe and to be on a journey of healing.

We recently visited New York Amen Clinic and we had great experiences. My son was so nervous about getting an IV to do his SPECT scan and he wasnt sitting but Crystal made it happen. She was so kind patient and didnt give up. She was fabulous I wish all the pediatricians places had a person like Crystal who is very understandable and patient. All the NY Amen Clinic staff were welcoming too.
