Hi, I’m Alyssa, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 10+ years of experience supporting children and families. I specialize in play-based therapy that feels natural, engaging, and tailored to each child’s strengths. I am playful because I believe children learn best through connection, creativity, and joy. Therapy with me is engaging and relational, not rigid or drill-heavy.
I am intentional because I carefully plan each session with clear goals and purpose. Even when we’re playing, I know exactly what skill we’re targeting and why.
I am effective because I care deeply about progress. I want the children I work with to feel successful and to make meaningful, measurable gains in their communication.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I serve children from toddlerhood through adolescence, supporting a wide range of communication needs. I work with young children on speech sound disorders, phonological processes, early language development, fluency challenges, and autism-related communication differences. With older children and adolescents, I often focus on strengthening expressive and receptive language, higher-level language skills, organization, and academic communication. I design individualized home programs and expect families to participate consistently, as meaningful and steady progress happens when therapy strategies are reinforced beyond our sessions and woven into everyday communication.
