Introduction
Hi, I’m Aly Bir, the founder of Pacific Pathways Speech Therapy. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder and my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Abilene Christian University in Dallas. I’m passionate about helping children, families, and adults find confidence in communication through individualized, evidence-based therapy.
I strive to make sessions fun, engaging, and effective so that every child and adult can thrive. Whether supporting a toddler’s first words, helping a school-age child gain clarity and confidence, or working with adults to regain or strengthen communication skills, my goal is always to empower and support each person’s unique journey. I look forward to partnering with you on your communication journey!
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Compassionate
Supportive
Fun
I chose the words compassionate, supportive, and fun because they reflect how I approach my work with every child, adult, and family. I am compassionate because I truly care about each person’s unique journey and celebrate their progress every step of the way. I am supportive by creating a safe, encouraging space where families and adults feel heard, understood, and empowered. And I am fun because I believe therapy should be engaging and motivating—when children and adults enjoy the process, they’re more likely to grow, feel confident, and succeed.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve clients across the lifespan — from early intervention (birth to 3) through school-aged children, young adults (18+), and adults (65+). I work with a variety of needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), articulation and phonological delays, expressive and receptive language delays, fluency disorders, gestalt language processors, AAC users, dysarthria, apraxia, and aphasia. My goal is to provide individualized, evidence-based therapy that supports communication growth at every stage of life. I enjoy collaborating with families and clients to create meaningful goals that make a real difference in daily communication.
