Hi, I’m Allie, a pediatric speech-language pathologist based in Carlsbad, CA. I work with children ages 18 months to 5 years, helping little ones develop confident, functional communication skills through play-based, child-led therapy. My approach is fun, engaging, and rooted in trust and a love for learning. I specialize in supporting late talkers, early communication, feeding, articulation, oral motor, and social communication skills. I am passionate about empowering parents with practical strategies they can use at home to continue supporting their child’s progress.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
I chose fun, empathetic, and flexible because these qualities truly reflect who I am both as a person and as a therapist. I have seen therapy be most effective when children feel comfortable, connected, and excited to learn. Being empathetic allows me to meet each child and family where they are and understand their unique experiences. I value flexibility because every child learns differently, and therapy should be adapted to their individual needs, interests, and personality. Together, these qualities help me build trusting relationships and create meaningful progress.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to serve toddlers and preschoolers, particularly children ages 18 months to 5 years who are late to talk, have difficulty using or understanding language, or need support with articulation, social communication, feeding, or oral motor skills. I also love working closely with parents and providing coaching so families feel confident supporting communication at home. I am able to support children with autism, ADHD, hearing loss, Down syndrome, or other diagnoses.
