About All Star Martial Arts & Fitness

At All-Star Martial Arts we teach traditional Taekwondo and self-defense in a clean and safe family environment. We have classes for children of all ages beginning at 4 years old and also for all ages of adults. Students learn kicking & punching, patterns, sparring, self-defense, and board breaking. Along with and through these activities, the students learn many important life lessons and benefits: self-confidence, self-control, discipline, focus, concentration, respect, physical fitness, goal setting, and much more. Our goal is to always build self-esteem in each student; that’s why we know each student by name (you are not just a number).

My son just started their samurai program and we cant be more excited. Master Lieder is so good with the kids and they do so good with dealing with all the chaos and redirecting and being patient with everyone. Thank you again for having a safe place for special needs kids to enjoy martial arts.

My son 5 year old has been going here for coming on a year now. What always amazes me is how efficient the instructors are. If class starts at 510 they open the doors at exactly 510 and the kids are coming out the door at exactly 540.On top of that the instructors are really amazing The kids have fun learn discipline and exercise hard. Master Lieder is always around and he is clearly a very decent and attentive man. Every member of the staff are very nice cheerful people who truly make you feel appreciated. I have no doubt that we will be going here for years to come.

The owner and coach for All Star Martial Arts opened his gym specifically for our mother and son YMSL group to teach the boys a self-defense class. Coach Lieder taught a simple and very useful self-defense tactics to our boys. He also let them break boards at the end of the class I highly recommend All Star Martial Arts. It was a great experience for all

Took classes here for about 4 years and loved every day of it. The instructors are knowledgable respectful and want to help every student be the best they can be. The building and equipment are well maintained. I would absolutely recommend All-Star if you want to learn Taekwondo or get a good workout.

We were members for 3 years at All Star MA. It started out as a great family friendly studio. It wasnt the closest. It didnt have the best times. It sure as heck was not the cheapest. But it had a family friendly atmosphere which included free child care and a playroom. It also had a very affordable and well stocked gym that the parents could use.Fast forward to a few weeks ago. Over the past few years they have changed the schedule and belt testing multiple times gotten rid of the child care and a few weeks ago removed the playroom. Our bill hasnt changed a bit. Also another company has taken over their workout room and they effectively kicked me out. The new company is PG Fit and I was told that if a PG FIt member needed to use a piece of equipment I would be asked to move. Now with no child care We had two students at different times and the gym effectively a minefield of bureaucracy we pulled both our kids out and removed my gym membership.Ironically - they still list these services on their website as well as on their business cards. This place is obviously going through some financial issues. Do not sign a contract with this company as I fear where they will be in 24 months.

Our family has been with All-Star for almost 9 years now. The instructors and students have become a second family for our 5 kids. The safety and quality of teaching has always been been top notch keeping classes both challenging and fun and our children have had no problem holding their own with students from other dojangs.

My daughter and I took advantage of their summer special for TKD and Krav Maga. This was our first experience in any martial arts and self defense but the instructors seem to be professional and attentive. They really engage the kids and they exercise while doing it. The Krav class really kicks my behind weights before ultimate fitness a serious cardio workout and the Krav class has really been fun and challenging. The instructor for Krav is certified but most people who attend are casual about the class so dont expect any hard core testing of your abilities. Nevertheless great for family and an alternative to regular gym workouts.
