All Family Dental and Braces - Elgin – Larkin Ave.

I want to start off by saying there are 2 different locations Summit St. and Larkin Ave. My son and I have ONLY ever gone to the Larkin Ave. location with Dr. Sravani she has been absolutely wonderful to my son and the dental hygienist Ryan is probably the coolest teeth cleaner ever very calming very fun and does his job accurately there iswas one other young man who has also cleaned my sons teeth and he was very sweet and gentle as well Dr. Sravani has always been very relaxed and nurturing with us including being very informative on how to proceed on techniques or products to keep his teeth bright white EVEN when the office has been packed full of kids Granted my son has zero teeth issues and has never had any issues so our visits have been easy on BOTH the Dr. as well as my son The front desk ladies have always been sweet welcoming and efficient as well. So as someone who IS NOT family or staff...maybe the issues others have experienced are due to their ownkids behaviors or the other location but as for me and mine...we will ONLY GO TO DR. SRAVANI AND RYAN for our amazing dental experiences. Have a great day and keep smiling

I took my daughter in spring of 2023 to be seen for brace approval. The exam was done and I was told the office would submit my daughters paperwork into our insurance for approval. I was told it might take a bit but to wait. Its now spring of 2024. I have been calling into the dental office as my daughters forms were never sent in. The office informed me they would send in her forms this year and would also confirm once the paperwork was sent in. I have been playing tag with this office and calling into our insurance to confirm on the arrival of the paperwork. This has been a very frustrating and unprofessional situation. Furthermore I have filed a grievance with my insurance to take action against this office as a whole year has been lost. I also have transferred my family to another dental office. To anyone using this office and experiencing their terrible services know that you can file a complaintgrievance through your insurance company. Good luck to those deciding to stick around Also Id like to add that their 5 star reviews received are obviously from staff and friends to wash out all their terrible reviews.

Terrible place. Do not bring your children here and save yourself the headache. First of all this office always has a long waitlist of up to 6 months for any type of appointment especially for fillings There is only one dentist at this location and she does not have the patience that a pediatric dentist needs for this occupation. My daughter had an appointment today for a filling that she had to wait 6 months for to get treated. Once she was being seen the assistant started with a cleaning instead. Why Well according to the front desk staff the dentist wanted to get the cleaning done and have the cavity filled so that she could open her schedule on Friday. Once the dentist starts working on the filling she lost her patience and was about to leave my daughter with a whole in her tooth. After much insisting she finally agreed to put a temporary sealant that will fall in two weeks or less. Then to top it off she said I had to take my daughter somewhere else to get the job completed because she did not want to finish the job. So now my daughter is being sent out on a limbo just because this dentist that lost her temper wanted her Friday schedule cleared. Pediatric dentists require patience for all children of all ages and this dentists does not have that quality. The level of unprofessionalism from this dentist as well as the front desk staff just baffled me. Please take this as a warning. Do not bring your children here.

I drove 45 min over here for them to tell me they dont accept my insurance. I was like isnt this something youre suppose to double check with me when you call to schedule or confirm the appointment The receptionist went on to say that she cant just assume I have the same insurance or if theres been any changes. I told her that I understood that but can she not look into the clients file and double check if and ask if theres any changes She then said that shes only able to look into it on the day of She said my son didnt have the same Medicaid plan and the insurance I have through work is HMO and Id need a referral like what Where am I going to get a referral from Just for a cleaning. My son has been going there. If anything she then said they only accept PPO. Supposedly but double check with them. She could be new since Ive never seen her there before. They always have different receptionists. I can see why. Theres no organization. I drove 45 min out I dont even want to give them a 1 star. I have had this same insurance that they wouldnt accept today for a little over a year. So last time I was there which was six months ago it was accepted. Today it was a problem.

What a horrible place. Staff seem to hate their jobs and the patients. The woman who cleaned my daughters teeth did not explain her about the after care and she was in a rush to quickly finish what she was doing. Constantly pushing her head back and forth with force. Dont they have to be careful when working with kids Just not a good experience overall.

My experience at this dentist office was absolutely horrific and traumatizing for my three-year-old son. He is mildly autistic and it was his first full-time going to the dentist. This is a pediatric office so they should be aware on how to handle multiple types of kids. When my son would not fully cooperate the dentist threw her hands up kept sighing kept smacking her teeth. At one point she even tried to force him back down in the chair by pushing on his chest. I kept saying never mind well do this another time hes clearly not ready to which she kept ignoring and getting louder and angrier with my son. These people are horrible. They also had his name spelled wrong his date of birth wrong and originally listed that he was a girl. Absolutely ruthless and neglectful and the dentists have no idea how to actually handle kids.

Everyone was very nice and very considerate to my daughter who is extremely anxious about seeing the dentist. They were kind gentle and reassuring. Thank you so much

Not very professional The office staff needs etiquette classes. Trying to get my son in for an appt due to tooth pain. We were disconnected on the call just as we were scheduling and when I called back 5 times they hung up on my every time Seriously Answer the call make the appt and move on with your day

Staff was super nice and welcoming. I was a couple minutes late. They still saw my daughter the dental assistants were awesome. I love bringing my kids here they never disappoint. Thank you so much

Please do not bring your child here. I waited too long to post this but I have to share. I know its hard to find a pediatric dentist if you have state insurance. But please save yourself and your child the trauma. Vibes are off as soon as you walk in the door. The waiting area and exam roomsareas are dirty. Like visibly dirty. I took a photo but cant seem to find it to post. The entire office smells so strongly of air freshener its nauseating. My son was 4 during our first visit his first dental visit ever and while Dr. Winnie was kind when we saw her at our first and second cleaning which is the only reason I brought him back to have a cavity filled the assistants and person who actually came to do the filling were not. The X-rays were so stressful for him because he struggled with the bite wing as he has some motor function issues and he was very anxious and uncomfortable and the person taking the X-rays got so frustrated with him not biting down properly. The sunglasses used to shield his eyes from the overhead light were so so dirty. I had to call the office after leaving because no one gave me post visit instructions as far as how long to wait before drinking or eating. The third and final visit was really traumatic for my son. Youd think he was the first child theyd ever treated who was nervous about having a gas mask strapped to his face a too large bite block crammed in his mouth followed by a drilltoolssuction having instructions barked at him and being unable to hold his moms hand nothing being explained to him all the while assistants and front desk staff filtered in and out of the room the entire time discussing how upset my son was and what theyd order for lunch. No less than 5 people who were uninvolved with the procedure came in. We ended up leaving with a cavity drilled and then filled with a temporary filling and were told we should go to a specialist since they couldnt finish the procedure. I dont even know the name of the person was who did the procedure because they never introduced themselves or even said as much as hello before she just dove right in. We have friends and family in the dental field unfortunately all out of state who were horrified at the details and told me nothing about this office was normal or acceptable. Id sooner fill his cavities myself before I brought him back here.

Worst experience ever. They cancel appointments dentist didnt talk to me before or after daughters procedure little after care notes and no continued...

There arent that many reviews on Yelp for this dentist but it seems that from when these bad reviews have started which is FAR back you can see NOTHING...
