Introduction
My name is Alexandra, and I am a bilingual speech language pathologist based in Plantation, Florida. I serve adults and children from 15 months to 80 years old. My expertise includes early intervention, articulation, AAC communication devices, aphasia, dysarthria, and feeding therapy. I am not as well positioned to serve children with stuttering but am willing to refer to local colleagues! I am passionate about empowering families, helping toddlers find joy through their first words during structured play, and being culturally responsive to families of all backgrounds.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
I chose these words because I had to overcome a lot of barriers as a first generation college student, helped my parents navigate the healthcare system and want bridge the gap between fun and rehabilitation for all my clients.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve patients that have a diagnosis of ALS, Parkinson's disease, stroke survivors, language delays, and articulation disorders.
