I am grateful for the IEP makeover that was done by Valerie it helped me fight for my son and get him the help needed to attend ESY this summer. Before the IEP makeover I did not know all that was available for my son to help him enjoy a successful school year. Now I am better informed of what is available and of my sons rights under the law. The greatest advantage of that IEP Makeover is that it educates you quickly and you will be even better prepared for your IEP meeting than your advocate.

Thanks to Valeries expertise and experience we were victorious in changing my sons primary eligibility from SLI to Autism and also in receiving a dedicated 11 aide in the GenEd setting. Throughout this comprehensive process of having multiple IEE IEP meetings shes listened closely to our familys concerns pieced together comprehensive strategies and allowed space for my voice to be heard in our IEP meetings. During these meetings she was always able to say the tough things that needed to be saidall while maintaining an atmosphere of dialogue and mutual respect. Not only has Valerie effectively advocated for my son but shes also empowered ME to be a powerful parent advocate by providing relevant training along the way. I cannot recommend her enough. I am so grateful for what she has done for my son and am excited to have the trajectory of his IEP forever changed

Valerie has been an instrument for helping my daughter who has Autism and Seizure disorder to get the special education therapies and services free of charge through FAPE fair and appropriate education from my local school district. Valerie a non-attorney advocate is a special education law expert and uses that expertise to create a successful IEP for kids K-12. Valeries services are 14 that of attorney and her success out performs most legal entities.
