I have been seeing Craig for many many years. He is an amazing counselor and deserves 5 stars. I cant stress enough how Craig is an Angel in disguise. Advantage Behavorial as a whole has become worthless though hence the 1 star. The psychiatrist wont listen to patients which leads to misdiagnoses which results in the wrong medication being prescribed and then still refuses to listen when you tell them how horrible the medicine was. I have ADHD and they swore i was bipolar. We wont speak about how detrimental bipolar medicine was. I had to go to a different psychiatrist for testing because Advantage straight up refused to test stating they knew what they were talking about and that my Primary Care doctor was wrong. Trying to schedule an appointment is a nightmare. Ive been trying for 3 WEEKS Someone finally answered today instead of sending me to voice-mail and they were very rude and short with me and then connected me with the wrong counselor. Because of this Im heartbroken that I will have to find a new counselor since I cant make an appointment to see the same one Ive been with for 23 years.

On Wednesday 092221 I reached out at a critical time to get assistance with the Advantage Behavior Health Systems located in Winder Georgia. I spoke with Mackenzie A. Trammell. I asked specifically what the cost would be as this is and was a deciding factor for me as to whether or not I would have made the appointment. She stated to me Most likely zero but no more than 10-15. I agreed to schedule the appointment. Today Wednesday 092921 Mackenzie A. Trammell called me back to say I needed to pay the co-pay for my intake appt that took place on Friday 092421 which was 48 and some change. I informed her that was not what I was told and went over the whole conversation that we had just a few days prior that I had given her my income information and everything to determine the cost prior to my appt. Mackenzie apologized and said she did in fact recall the conversation but wasnt able to get the appt entered until the next morning to know the cost for sure. I told her that wasnt my fault and that I was told it would be no more than 15. She went on to say she understood and thought thats what it would have been and that she had never seen the cost percentage come in this high and that it was all new to her. No one ever called me on Thursday 092321 the day after I made the appt to say the rate had changed nor did they mention it during my intake appt on Friday 092421. Im just finding out about this today FIVE DAYS after my appt. I spoke with the office manager who said she could get my percentage down from 60 to 30 which would take the rate down for FUTURE appts but I would still have to pay the full 48 and change. After speaking with them for HALF AN HOUR they still made me pay the 48 I want my money back. Thats all. I want no future business with them nor will I refer them to anyone. But I NEVER should have been asked to pay a bill that is more than 30 what I was told I would have to. This is a scam and feel after all of this stressanxiety put on me on top of what I was ALREADY dealing with that I deserve AT THE VERY LEAST my 48 and change back I dont think thats too much to ask. They should have at LEAST notified me PRIOR TO MY APPT that the rate had changed. I could have then made the decision to cancel or continue and pay the 48 but I wasnt given this choice. This is NOT OK to take advantage of someone in a vulnerable situation. If I could give ZERO stars I certainly would

I would like to start by saying in the past I have actually referred friends and family to Advantage in Winder. I have used their services for my medications and an awesome counselor for years. I have never had an issue with a doctor or nurse there or my counselor Craig and to this date that hasnt changed. But unfortunately the way it organized has changed and totally become unprofessional. You can no longer deal with the office that you go to. If you have a problem or cannot make an appointment you have to go the 800 service and they never answer. Then when they do answer are rather short and hateful. Taking the patients right to deal with the office they recieve their assistance through and the people they are accustomed to dealing with has proven to be a mistake. The service provided is not worth the hassle now.

Refuse to answer phone. Constantly changing appointments. Counselors never stay for more than a month or two then I have to repeat ENTIRE history. Cant see doctor even during emergency. Prescription refills are a joke.
