As a single dad I signed up my son for summer camp 2022. They couldnt manage him and were quick to dismiss him from camp within a few days. They wont refund the money. They claim its their policy. No disclosure in advance. Nothing in writing. Nothing in the handbook about it. They make this up as they go along. I didnt pull him from camp. They made this decision so at least they should refund me.Administration only cares about money. Administration doesnt have a heart.Nancy Carroll does not care about the Jewish community or its members. No sympathy for a single dad with a son with some special needs. To her its just a business. Kicking out a child from a single parent home and not even having the decency to respond timely. Her response was cold and devoid of compassion.See below for the JCCs copy and paste response trying to save face and present themselves as noble. Being in business for 40 years means nothing. Things go downhill and that is the case with this Administration.The fact that this policy exists is ridiculous. I challenge you to present a policy that if you dismiss a camper involuntarily that you wont refund the money. I understand if a parent voluntarily withdraws there is no refund but if they are dismissed that makes no sense. The fact that you wont refund the money just proves you are not serving anyone but yourselves.Speaking over the phone and telling me there is an issue is not a plan of action. What was your plan What was your strategy Informing me of an issue is not a resolution. The phone call was made by a teenage counselor. I requested a call from Jill and never got it. I requested a call the first night from Roxanne and she said she forgot. Your handbook says there will be a meeting to strategize approaches and that never happened. Your below response is a copy and paste response. I hope other parents see the cold hearted lack of compassion from Administration.To your organization what is 1000 To me it is the difference between paying my rent or not. No compassion for families in a difficult time. There are lots of policies in every business but it is up to Administration to make the right decision. You are not the White House. You can do whatever you want and you have chosen to be this way. Every professional company works with their customers- Walmart Amazon American Airlines... and yet the JCC whose mission should be to serve the community still hasnt caught on.

Leo was a compassionate and attentive counselor always making sure kids felt included and never left out. Bonded so well with my son this summer. Wonderful camp for younger children with amazing and attentive camp counselors.

I am writing this review to share my unfortunate experience with Levis JCC Marleen Forkas Camps. I registered my son for the upper camp enrolling him in two sessions for July and August. However my excitement quickly turned to concern when my son was hurt by another child while attending the camp.I was deeply troubled by this incident as my son felt unsafe and expressed his reluctance to return to the camp. What was even more disheartening was the fact that there are 40 kids in the class with two counselors and neither of them witnessed the incident that led to my sons injury.In light of this distressing event I decided to request a refund for the remaining time my son would not be attending the camp. To my disappointment the camp refused my request for a refund leaving me feeling both frustrated and disheartened.As a concerned parent I believe that the safety and well-being of our children should be the top priority for any camp or childcare facility. The fact that my sons injury was not observed by the camps counselors raises serious concerns about their supervision and attentiveness to the children in their care.I am deeply dissatisfied with the camps response to my request for a refund as I firmly believe that I should not be held financially responsible for the time my son wont be attending due to safety concerns.In light of this experience I must express my strong dissatisfaction with Levis JCC Marleen Forkas Camps. Their refusal to address this matter adequately and their lack of accountability for my sons safety demonstrate poor business practices. I highly discourage any parents from considering this camp for their children as I believe there are other options available that prioritize the safety and well-being of campers.As a parent my primary concern is my childs safety and I urge other parents to think twice before enrolling their children in this camp. I hope my review will serve as a cautionary tale and prompt the camp to reevaluate their policies and practices to ensure the safety and happiness of all campers.

Management with the worst attitude They care only about the money .Definitely doesnt worth the price they asking.Horrible experience

From the very first day I was welcomed and supported in my journey to stay fit. The directorBethe is terrific. So encouraging. Her upbeat and fun personality makes you know you can do it The classes are geared for success. No feeling inadequate in her classes. Looking for a great gym Come here. Best decision Ever

The JCC is a friendly gym. Good equipment. Theres lots of classes and good parking.

I have been shopping at Levis JCC for many years. It has always beenone of my favorite and best priced Thrift Stores in Boca Raton. Their new location is not only beautiful but lots of room for new stuff.Levis JCC is a must for all of you bargains hunters.
