Beaming Review

Diagnostic process, excellent. Most staff and BTs, very warm & friendly. My child received great care at first, but after 6 months of receiving services, treatment began to slowly change. Communication became more difficult, staff (esp admin & leadership) became less accessible, and my child’s care became less transparent. After months of pushing for more transparency in treatment (methods and clinical practices), trying to get clear answers & trying to advocate for my child, it was clear that admin and leadership had zero interest in making sure parents understood what happened behind closed doors. The list of issues & oddities became so long, that it seemed like AAPSA was hiding something. I couldn't keep my very vulnerable child there. No way of knowing or trusting that my child was safe and that treatment was ethical & neuro-affirming. The level of intentional secrecy was truly bizarre. extremely upsetting experience. don’t recommend to anyone who has small children.
