They don't answer calls and are a money organization with no interest in anything other than that. Check out this email I got from their "Intake Team." We all deserve better than this! The worst part is calling yourself "for the family" when you are this type of trash (also incompetent as you can see from the email). Dear Elvira, Thank you for reaching out. We want to clarify that you are not currently on the waitlist to receive services at the Ackerman Institute. Additionally, it appears that you did not complete the full Intake process. You participated in an initial screening to assess whether our clinic would be a good fit for your therapy needs, and then informed us that you had decided to pursue care elsewhere. At this time, we are referring you to a provider who can offer the level of urgent care you are seeking, which unfortunately is beyond the scope of what we can provide here at Ackerman.
