Call aheads for appointment times are always a day before the appointment to remind you. They have great counseling and med management opportunities. Would recommend

Do not go to this clinic the staff are incredibly rude and have no idea how insurance works. My boyfriend was referred to this clinic to get established he was called today by a woman to get him set up for an appointment and right out of the gate we had issues. My SO expressed his preference for a female councilor and after a big sigh she became annoyed and told him that she was pretty sure they couldnt accommodate because he is on medicaid the kicker... hes not on medicaid and hasnt been for a while. So we called back were put in touch with a man who answered the phone with hello and nothing else got annoyed when my SO asked if this was the referral department. After explaining the situation the man told him his medicaid is still active we advised we dont want to use it because at this point with our current income that would be illegal and he had 2 other insurances through both of our jobs and the man argued with us asking us why and telling us we were wrong. We ended up expressing our frustration with the whole process and hung up.These ratings are 100 accurate and the person who keeps responding is clearly not fixing the situation at their clinic. You are a mental health clinic and should be ashamed for the way you treat patients. If dealing with people is such an inconvenience find a new job.

TLDR They dont show up to appointments rarely call you back often dont answer their phone then drop you as a client without notification.I dont often leave reviews but this needs to be said. I now believe the previous ones I had read. I had an appointment end of last month with my practitioner over telehealth and she never showed up. So I immediately called to see what was up no answer unfortunately thats the usual so I left a VM. Never received a response. Over the next few weeks I left two more VMs. A couple of days ago I realized I was almost out of my med and had no refills so I left a VM with them and again no answer. I finally left a VM at the main desk and my practitioners desk and missed a call the next day. I received a VM saying my practitioner had dropped me. I was never informed of this. They said they could set me up with a different one so I wouldnt run out but I have no desire to work with them after the blatant disregard for ethics. Do not go here.

Chris Gawka and Shawna Kuehne are highly unethical and unprofessional nurse providers seriously Chris Gawka had toe audacity to waste my previous time and the outcome of my one meeting with this clown was for him to tell me to to go to another clinic for med management what a joke. Cannot emphasize this enough avoid these two providers or dont. Its a your own risk. I only ever leave reviews when I feel like its a social responsibility and a public service dont take my review lightly. Seriously save yourself the unnecessary stress.

Not all of the staff has been bad to work with here. Vanessa Johnson is an amazing counselor. If you do need counseling I highly recommend her.Access behaviorial health as a whole though. Is not very favorable.Staff in the past have been rude and very unkind. They have even moved and changed my appointments without telling me. Cancelling several in a row and never telling me. So I would take transportation all the way into town only to be told they had cancelled my appointment. They did this with my first counselor at their office. So many times that I broke down in their office from embarrassment and fatigue from the mental and emotional anguish from not seeing my counselor for weeks. They did not apologize. My counselor did but the staff did not care. They never had the person who cancelled my appointments apologize to me. And it was multiple appointments in a rowIve fallen on hard times with having had Covid myself and a loved one that became very ill with COVID-19 and had to move in with me.Ive tried to be very honest and open about my short term memory issues. And my high stress levels. My NP decided to cancel on me after two missed appointments after years of being her patient. They do not care.I Have medical PTSD and its very hard for me to trust doctors. This NP also gave me medications that I should not have had due to my heart condition. Yet I still attempted to trust them. After being let go from her care I will not be seeking anything from this office again. The disregard and disrespect towards their patients is outrageous. Its basically ok for them to cancel late and no show on you or cancel your appointment without telling you but you cant miss two appointments without being passed to a different NP. This behavior is highly ableist. Its ok for them to cancel on us and and mess up our appointments but we arent allowed to miss any appointments due to Brain fog high stress and anxiety This is literally what you treat your patients forSMH Im going to find a better option for my healthcare plan.If you have high anxiety and brain fog this clinic will not take any of your medical issues into consideration. They will just pass you along.

Only rating 1 star to leave a review. Yes. I WAS LATE. But I called I called I called. I live in a trailer with poor internet and do not drive. Making appointments is very hard. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT AFTER MISSED APPOINTMENTS THEY WILL BEGIN THE PROCESS TO KICK YOU OUT OF THEIR PROGRAM. For almost 2 years I sat with a guy named Dr Kimsey that only taught me about the orange juice he added to his Thanksgiving ham. He never listened or helped in any way then I learned he was retiring probably because he was tired of giving out his family recipes and I was being switched to a woman named Shauna. She was cool but when I moved and they implemented video calls- she didnt care about my faulty internet different methods or anything else all she cared about was her time. Not the care of her patients. I was removed from her care for lack of better words and sent to a woman named Lindsay after ONE missed appointment I was 1520 minutes late I have been told to find my medication and help elsewhere. Dawn was very rude and uppity with me and didnt understand my situation at all other than the fact that I was right- if I showed up 15 minutes late to the doctors office they would still see me. However she still held me accountable for my INTERNET PROVIDER that I use inside an RV camper and kicked me. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU NEED REAL HELP. These people are not understanding they are condescending and sometimes very rude. Which is why I had to freak out the way I did to get the answers I was searching for FINALLY. Without completely flipping out on them you get no where. They just pass you off until youre forgotten about.Do yourself a favor find REAL help.

I have been seeking help for quite a long while and was able to finally get in to see someone at Access Behavioral health around February area. I still have not had many appointments but I have been very pleased with the pleasantness of staff the few times I have gone into the office.Since the quarantine has started we have had to do tele-health sessions which has been an adjustment. The kinds of hoops this place has jumped through during quarantine has been astounding they have been helping me out so much. I personally recommend Ray and Sarah counselor and med manager.I intend to give the last star when the clinic has proven itself over time and I fully expect I will be doing so given a couple months or less.

I was a patient seen by Sarah Truid she at first refused to treat my anxiety with the right medication to help with pseudoseizures Because of an aunt she had that abused it so it worried her and she blamed my birth mothers history for it as well and took me off all of my medication instead which caused me to have multiple seizures and I ended up hospitalized for it which in return ended up being more of a liability than just working with me and my other team of doctors. Similar situation when she treated my child she refused to work with his pediatrician proceeded to mock him and told me to have him take care of my sons medications while mom shaming me for being disappointed In her taking him off of all his meds right before schools starts all because I wouldnt go get extra tests done that costed extra money I dont have and his pediatrician disagreed with her that those extra tests needed done. So with her refusal to work with other doctors and health care professionals her refusal to listen or even care was just mind blowing. I do not think someone like her should be treating patients medically If she personalizes everyones specific situation to her personal families abuse history isnt professional and personally for someone with a seizure diagnosis for her to take me off of meds I shouldve been tapered off of was a huge mistake on her part and could cause legal issues for this business

Staff is extremely rude med manager Shauna refuses to listen to input from parents and when we were late for an appointment she refused to EVER see client again. She is now refusing to refill meds to continue current course of treatment. I have never seen worse customer service from any business let alone one that caters to people in hard places.
