To say the school is life changing isnt overselling it. As most parents with kids on the spectrum can probably relate to its stressful and scary to try to find the right resources for your little ones. Public school is a disaster at least it was for us and your children are treated more as a distraction or problem than as people that need different ways of learning and coping with the world. Everyday you wonder what items youll have on the discussion list with the teacher and administration regarding what your kids did wrong because that seems to be par for the course. ABA and other therapies are out there but its tricky for kids to have real-world practice when theyre not in a setting with support to help them connect the dots from therapy sessions to real world practice.Enter Accelerated Learning Academy ALA. A night and day experience. Here our boys are more than accepted theyre celebrated. Their quirks become strengths and their weaknesses are slowly but surely - and gently and with the utmost care - molded into coping exercises they can use for the rest of their lives. And its not just a clinic. The academics are taught with amazing teachers and ideal classroom ratios and individual needs are respected so students can excel. This review could go on and on for quite some time singing the praises of the school and clinic but Ill end it by simply saying thank you. Thank you to Gwen and Jen for providing such an amazing place and to all of the fantastic BCBAs and RBTs and teachers that take such good care of our family. You all make a world of difference.

ALC is an absolute treasure in Las Vegas My son received ABA from ALC for years prior to the opening of their educational facility. When the school opened its doors he was the first registered student. At this school my son received an educational plan specifically tailored to his academic strengths and weaknesses in addition to behavior therapy sprinkled in to everything he did. As a parent of a child with autism I know how heartbreaking it is to send them to school and not see progress or worse see an uptick in unproductive behavior and constant calls from school administrators who never understood my child. ALC has a wonderful staff that understands autism and they work diligently with the kids to bring out their best. The director Dr. Diggins keeps ALC in the know of the latest teaching techniques and resources available for people on the spectrum. The teachers and aides are well trained nurturing warm and goofy - if your kid is lucky enough to get into Ms. Peggys class it will change hisher life. My son thrived at ALC and he has cultivated amazing friendships with his peers. We had to leave ALC due to employment relocation to another state but we continue to love and will be eternally thankful for ALC

We have seen so much improvement in our grandson since he has been going to the clinic. Not only does he love to go but he is listening and responding to instructions and even talking more. His improvements are very significant and we are very happy with the clinic.
