Academic Associates of Contra Costa

Academic Associates Learning Center is reading center that uses a phonetic program based linguistically on the 44 sounds we use in English. The Academic Associates method of reading instruction was developed by Cliff Ponder, the president and founder of Academic Associates Learning Centers. The Academic Associates Reading Program is successful with those diagnosed with dyslexia or other learning problems. Instruction is provided in a one-on-one, secure, positive environment designed to increase confidence and self-esteem. It starts with the basic foundation of reading and build from there. On average, our students gain from 2 to 5 years in reading ability.
