Ability1st is working with local automotive technicians to refurbish gently used power wheelchairs and distribute them to members of our community in need. Approximately 13.7 percent of adults require assistance for mobility, but power wheelchairs are often prohibitively expensive. Recycling the power wheelchairs help our consumers increase their independence, obtain jobs, and obtain or maintain housing.
