Hi there! I'm Meg, a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. I specialize in working with children ages 0-3, guiding both them and their families in building speech and language skills through everyday routines. My approach is family-centered because I believe that by working together, we can make simple daily activities enriching, productive, and meaningful for both the child and their caregivers.

I use a strengths-based approach because I truly believe you are your child’s best teacher. You already have the instincts that make you the perfect guide for their development—I’m here to help hone those skills and support you every step of the way.

When I’m not in therapy sessions, you can usually find me singing and dancing with my kids in the kitchen or out on a hike with my yellow lab. I’m passionate about making therapy fun, engaging, and a natural part of your family’s routine!

Warm: You’ll find in me a partner rather than a lecturer. I want you to feel supported, and I love finding ways to incorporate my expertise into your life, using your family’s culture as a guide.
Respectful: I respect your priorities as a parent or caregiver of your precious child, and I respect your child as a human with their own desires to communicate their wants and needs.
Proactive: I like to have a plan by the end of each session so you know exactly what to work on and how. Each session is an opportunity to practice strategies that will help your child make progress in communicating better.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I am best positioned to support families with babies and toddlers who have hearing loss. As an AGBell Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist (also known as a Listening and Spoken Language Specialist), I specialize in helping young children make sense of sound and develop speech. I am particularly skilled in guiding families through the unique hierarchy of skills needed for auditory and language development. In addition, I provide support by preparing parents and children for audiology appointments. I incorporate American Sign Language when it is beneficial for the child and family. By utilizing research-backed, time-tested strategies, I ensure that your child is on the right path for optimal communication development.
