My son went here for about a year. They give you high hopes that your child will have all these hours but then because they have a high turn over rate with staff youre only scheduled 2-3x a week sometimes even 1 day so if my child is sick one week and I have to call him out for one or two days that week that shows hes missing almost 70 of sessions. But had my son received his promised hours my one or two day call out wouldnt have affected his attendance as much. Eventually they dropped him from the program due to his attendance and maybe yes I could have done better but again I dont feel comfortable sending my child to therapy when he is sick or even has been up since 3am on little to no sleep. On the last day the main therapist who over seas everything approached me as I was walking my son to the door. While she is holding the door for people to enter and exit the building she is telling me that this will be my sons last day. That he is no longer in the program due to his attendance. Further asking me if I had any questions.... I was like a deer in headlights because who does that To relay such important information to me outside right in the center of all these people from the building other parents. It was completely unprofessional and unethical I had questions but couldnt even think straight as I was also in a rush to get my oldest son to his dentist appointment I didnt even have time to ask questions. Their communication is the worse Also she promised to work with me for a month to help my son find somewhere new. She sent me one email with outdated resources I responded with a question and she ignored my email and I never heard from her again. Just dropped my son like he meant nothing to them. They will hire anyone to be with your child only 40 hours of training required. As soon as your child gets used of one technician they leave and your child has to try to build a new relationship with someone an unfortunate cycle. I am sad that I wasted a year of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Just leaving this message to warn others dont waste your childs precious time here.

I HIGHLY recommend this place. It was worth the wait My daughter was able to get diagnosed here and then she started here for her services. Its only been one month and my daughter has the PERFECT team She has learned so much in such a short time. Im very impressed and I thank God everyday for finding this place. My daughter has the BEST team anyone could ask for. Chelsea and Krissy are the AMAZING They do so well with my daughter and when I tell you my daughter came in with less then 10 words and in 1 month shes at 30 words. Shes almost 3 years old. She had never been separated from me either so I was worried she would have a hard time away from me. I was wrong She runs into her school is what we call it. Shes learned how to say bye and wave now and its so cute. When I pick her up shes so happy. I am forever grateful for Wisconsin Early Autism Project in Brookfield. If you notice your child is having any traits for autism please dont hesitate to bring them in as soon as possible. The only bad part is theres a little bit of a wait but thats everywhere you go. So get on the list and see if your child gets diagnosed. Once I saw how great of a place it was and after my daughters diagnosis I decided to have her go there for her therapy as well. Best decision I was given resources for so many different things. Im so impressed with WEAP. Thank you for saving my daughter by giving her the help she needed.

If you are looking for a program to waste your time and never get back to you youve found it After a month of calling multiple times a week I finally got ahold of someone helpful at their green bay facility after being ignored by Brookfield. It took a month to tell me my daughter was two months too old for their program. Cristal didnt even bother to call me after going through another location to finally get someone to contact me. She just sent the same generic email saying she was too busy for a simple call back. A very frustrating and fruitless endeavor.

My grandson is non verbal and has been attending weap facility for approximately a year. But had previously Had been receiving in-home therapy to accommodate my daughters schedule.. sometimes communicating is a bit delayed... With that being said..I think people should keep in mind that their focus is on working with our children and achieving success through therapy not administrative duties. From what I understand all employees including administrators are all hands on....

I worked here for almost a year and just this week I am disappointed on how they treat the staff and they dont support what you do to help these kids they let employees go for the little things they need to know that this job aint easy and I dont recommend any kids going here they are not worth your kids time or energy. Also there is an employee who talks inappropriate in front of kids and to employees and I reported it and they have done nothing about it and he still works there this program is literally terrible.

Dont send your kids here. They dont care about them at all. And also they treat their employees terrible. They drop their hours without notice. Theyre disrespectful towards their employees. They just hire anybody to work with children which isnt okay. The Managing tech and the doctors on the teams are just terrible the director of the place isnt professional doesnt even know what shes doing. I wouldnt recommend your kid going here or I wouldnt recommend you working here either The managing tech and the doctors there are just pathetic and a waste of space

I HIGHLY recommend WHEAP My son was diagnosed over 2 and a half years ago. Life was upside down for us. WHEAP came into my home and taught me how to engage with my Autistic Genius in his world. Along the way we have faced turnover with staff and conflicts. The manner and respect in which the directors and Vice President gracefully and professionally handled my concerns were remarkable. If I could give advice to any techs that may have experienced ANY issues within this company I would say Please remember that for you this may be a job. But for a family of a child with Autism this is our journey into a world we have no instruction or guidance on. Were allowing YOU to help shape our childrens future and that is a major role. Please always remember that we appreciate you guys and the experience you come with on paper but never have you worked with OUR child so please treat it as a new beginning and an opportunity to contribute your expertise to a family who is learning from youAs a family wed like to extend a huge thank you to WHEAP the techs theyve hired in the past my sons current team and everyone that has walked this journey through Autism with us. Advocating for your child is the only voice we can give our little geniuses..always remember there are gray areas..even with children who are non verbal and have communication and language barriers our children can still be heard5 stars arent enough to give WHEAP I really wish I could take all the stars out the sky-Incemirra Pole

Ive only like one of my daughters techs. The others were just there for a job. One would just sit on her phone the whole session. Then a different tech didnt really want to be there. The seniors I had were great Same with the staff at the facility But I think theyre under staffed so theyll hire any college student. I moved away and my daughter go to a different ABA therapy company. This company she goes to now is 1000 times better They dont command your child around like a dog.
