Vivage Senior Living - Lakewoord - Allison Care Center

I just came back from visiting my brother after he returned from the hospital after a fall. They were quick to get him there and while I dont like that he fell it turned out to be a blessing because there were other health challenges that needed to be addressed. He is back at Allison now and is getting back into his daily routines. I am extremely grateful for the care they give him and I know hes in good hands at Allison.

Can only visit my mother in her room per their unwritten rules. I am required to wear a mask but residents are not. Defies logic My mothers room and this section of the complex has an extreme urine smell. Left a request at the front desk to have a manger call me. I have not received a call.

This is the nicest most clean facility that I have had the pleasure of seeing They are extremely organized and the staff is absolutely amazing. They have amazing bedside manner they are respectful and very empathetic. They truly care for their residents and it shows

A most enjoyable visit with my sister. This facility is superb and very clean. They take the time with each resident. Their welfare is of the utmost importance. We are very satisfied for the care they offer.

Having to put your parent in some kinda of facility like this is very scary because you dont know how they are going to treat your parent and you want them to have the best care possible right Well this is definitely the place to bring them. Me and my brother and sister were terrified when we found out that the Dr wanted my mom to go to a rehabilitation center for a few weeks to help get her strong before she came home but once we got to Alison Care Center and met the staff and some of the residents we felt a lot better about the whole experience and situation. The very next day my mom was just having a grand ol time talking to everyone and felt very comfortable and didnt feel like she was a burden to anyone they made her feel wanted.Thank you Allison Care Center for giving me and my siblings peace of mind about our mother and we know she in good hands with good people.

My mother went to Allison after hip surgery. The staff was kind and helpful. Debbie the administrator made sure my mother was well taken care of. Everyone went out of their way to make her stay comfortable. She stayed for about 3 weeks and could not have been in better hands. She is back home now and I truly believe that all the attention at Allison contributed to her amazing recovery. She is 97 years old. I will most definitely recommend this center to anyone in search of a good rehabilitation facility that feels like home. Thank you Allison

My father is a current resident in Walden Way - this is a secure unit for people with advanced DementiaAlzheimers . I am constantly amazed by the love and care the CNAs and other medical professionals give to the residents in this unit. I cant imagine how stressful their job can be but I never see them become short or impatient with the residents. Theyre always all running around feeding everyone cleaning up after everyone constantly reminding them that they are safe and ok bathing changing etc. It might not be the prettiest facility but when you are looking for a home for your loved ones I can tell you pretty doesnt cut it its the love and passion the people who work and care for your loved ones have and I can tell you these people are incredible. They all deserve medals

Both my parents were at Allison Care Center with Dementia. My father one year. My mother just one month shy of 6 years.My father had a room on the second floor. My mother was on the first floor. By request they were not put in the same room. They would bring my father down each meal time to be with his wife. I just loved walking in and seeing them having their meals together. One time I walked in and saw the both asleep holding hands in front of the TV. That was the day I had to step out because it brought me to tears to see them enjoying just being together.Second floor staff were wonderful and caring for my father. He liked all the activities that were constantly happening. Loved it when he got to go on the bus tours. Always clean and smelling good when you got off the elevator. Staff were friendly and easy to talk with any concerns that I had.Allison Care was also wonderful in caring for my mother. She spent the last years in Walden Way. Which is their unit for more advanced dementia or flight risks. I was very pleased with how she was taken care of. I even had requests on certain things that the staff worked with me on. She was always busy with activities special parties entertainment and each Holiday themed parties. She told me many times how nice they were to her My mother did not like to shower but staff would tell her it is SPA day. The people that work in Walden way have a God Given GiftThey do the best they can with each and every resident. I have sat and watched how each resident is handled. Always with respect and caring attitude.They follow the laws and rules when situations come up beyond their control. I got a call each and every time there was one with my mom. I would call and never feel like I was putting some out by asking questionsLet me say that it is up to all of us to be proactive in the care of our loved ones. It was the hardest thing I have had to do. Putting both parents in a nursing home broke my heart. I visited many before deciding on Allison Care. It is up to family to get the staff to understand and know your loved ones likes and dislikes. What they were all about before Dementia.I stopped by at different times and days. There was always cleaning being done great smells coming from the kitchen people smiling and saying Hi when you walk in.I do suggest keeping your own records updated when it comes to the business part of Allison Care. I was frustrated at doing it.In conclusion I THANK YOU ALLISON CARE for helping me help my parents in their final years.Janet Dowdy

This is a great place The atmosphere is homey and clean. It truly feels like a comforting environment. I have a loved one here and they really enjoy the activities that this place provides daily and the awesome food. Everyone is super friendly and staff is always helpful. I will say that I was concerned at first when I found out that they did not have an actual AC unit in their building. However I was made aware that they do have a cooling system. Like many places here in CO they use swamp coolers. Really happy with this place.
