Texas Children's Pediatrics - Austin Pediatrics

I have never been to this facility but they do not take HIPPA breaches seriously. I have been receiving information from a patient that is not myself their appointment times name and address for their appointments. I have called 3 different times to have my phone number removed from this account in order to stop receiving patient information and no changes have been made. Very disappointed and would certainly second guess ever bringing my child here because you never know who theyre going to send their information to without your knowledge or consent apparently.

what a disgrace. They called to cancel by apt 30 minutes before my scheduled apt.. for my BABY bc she didnt get a jab. Would have been nice to know they were anti medical freedom before wasting my time

After reading the negative reviews I feel that its important for me to leave a positive review of the easy experiences I have had here so farDr. Muchulihy probably misspelled sorry has been wonderful and when he was unavailable we were able to see a temp doctor who was equally as wonderful. He has always treated my daughter very well on our visits and the nurses who have administered all the vaccines have been wonderful and patient with our daughter as well. My boyfriend and I feel very comfortable bringing our daughter here. We would both highly recommend this place as a reputable pediatrician. The negative reviews do not reflect any of the visits we have had so far.As first time parents in a weird and unplanned pandemic we feel more than comfortable and well cared for coming here. I truly cannot understand where the negative reviews are coming from.

We had the worst experience with our two month old today I left a review on another site already and had to share on here too thats how bad it was. Its extremely sad I couldnt trust the doctor with my son. I asked the doctor TWICE to stop touching my son because of how it was making him scream Dr. Mulcihy told me it was normal but when your baby is screaming from being touched aggressively theres something wrong I trusted my moms instincts and Im so glad I did Dr. Mulcihy proceeded with insults belittling and bullying Theres a difference between sarcastic humor and rudeness I left in tears and will never go back

Believe everyone when they say he is Un-compassionate rude arrogant person and if I could give zero stars I wouldve. Also I wished I wouldve read the warning reviews before we took my daughter to see him. My daughter is traumatized by the blunt things he discussed and didnt even sympathize that my daughter was on the same room. Being blunt and forward is not the problem its a problem when you think that we the people dont have options and also you not the only doctor in town Youre the new guy in town and I dont understand why Texas Children allows this kind of person to represent you Wow....

I think that the negative reviews may come from the docs direct and honest nature. Hes always been straight forward but never in a rude way. In the south that can be construed as rude but he is not. Just because he isnt sugary sweet and may not treat every child like a princess does not mean he is rude. Usually rude people point the finger when they dont get what they want.Weve been to him many times attempting to find the right med and dose for my daughters severe ADHD and hes never once treated us like a nuisance. Yes he has denied us antibiotics at one point because he felt she had a virus. Turns out he was right and we didnt have to unnecessarily give her antibiotics. If it had turned into something worse I wouldnt have held it against him. Doctors are not psychic magicians and people need to stop treating them like they are.

Posted a while back about this doctor not being very gentle. But to be honest since then we have once again had to get daughters throat swabbed and forcefully had to hold her down to do it since it was the only way. So in all fairness just wanted to post that. But I still believe its worth it to take as much time as possible to calm or distract a child or use humor before going straight to holding them down though. That way they arent perpetually scared of doctors visits in future.. This is how Ive seen others doctors approach it.. Just my personal belief and two cents.

I hate having to give even one star. This office is awful. The girls in the office have no care in the world for the patients and are extremely rude and have no remorse. My son went a whole month with an infection. After calling every week and threatening with a lawsuit he finally got antibitotics that were needed. When it started to come back we were refused to be seen for that and 6m vaccines. DO NOT go to Dr. Mulcihy for anything

We absolutely love Dr. Mulichy Im always able to get my son it for an appointment vs offices never having and opening. His staff is wonderful. I moved about an hour away and after trying an office close to our house they didnt compare. The drive is worth it for a great pediatrician Their facility is also very nice.

Dr Mulichy is always super rude to me or my husband. He still claims he is their doctor when he hasnt been for over a year and I always have to call their insurance and switch them. It took forever to switch them to a new doctor because he was holding the records for over a week. Overall his comments to us as parents really set me over the edge. So I wouldnt recommend him to anyone

Very nice staff beautiful office and I loved that we were able to pick up our medicine on-site. They have a pharmacy on the first floor. I highly recommend...
