Heather loves her profession and it shows. She is dedicated to her clients and willing to go above and beyond to help facilitate their growth. No one starts in speech knowing the questions to ask or the resources available. Heather explains as you go. She offers suggestions when a new problem is presented. As for her relationship with her clients she is enthusiastic dedicated and fun. I consider her a godsend in dealing with my nieces speech impediment. I highly recommend TALK to anyone seeking an above average SLP.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Thanks to Heather both of my special needs children have gone from having significant struggles to being thriving middle and high school students in the general education setting. She is funny warm practical super smart and I consider it a blessing that she was their SLP for as many years as she was. Heather Hamilton was my daughters speech therapist from ages 3-5. She diagnosed my daughter with apraxia and was instrumental in getting my daughter to begin speaking and now at age 8 she talks non-stop. Heather is so patient and makes speech therapy fun and my daughter always looked forward to it. She is always willing to help with any questions regarding development issues and school issues. My daughter has FUN during her speech therapy sessions I also appreciate that at the end of each session Heather takes the time to explain what she observed during the session her assessment of progress and gives us things to work on at home to reinforce what was learned during the sessions. Heather develops a personalized plan for how to improve speech. She takes the time to explain this plan gives information on what to expect in terms of progress or improvement. Her suggestions for incorporating speech homework during daily routines are so creative. For example I never realized my girls favorite book the Bear Snores On practices S and Z soundsWe practice some of the sounds she is working on during family game night focusing on some of the sounds that they are working on.Most importantly we are seeing progress
