Talk About Therapy - Smyrna/Vinings

I started Talk About Therapy for speech therapy sessions for my child about three months ago and it has been a very unpleasant experience with them from start to finish. First off they take your child to the back rooms for their sessions and parents are to wait in the lobby for your child so you really dont know what is being done taught to your child. My child did not feel comfortable going there and I so i decided to follow then to the back room and sit in on one of the session. Needless to say i was VERY UNDERWHELMED with the process.The therapists are not well trained so they go over VERY GENERIC content with the kids - no stimulation no originality and no ingeninuity. They just talk and ask the child to repeat after them si i noticed my child was just being repetitive versus understanding concepts. My child can talk and comprehend things. -- I only brought her to therapy to expand her vocabulary and comprehend more advanced concepts so that she can engage in meaningful conversations. Their approach at Talk About Therapy is so very lackluster and so below standard that I felt I was dumbing my child down bringing her there. You WILL WASTE your time and money going to these folks. Please search out other therapy centers. Talk About Therapy will NOT HELP YOUR CHILD AT ALL.

Very rude receptionist at the front desk. Never pleasant and keep rolling her eyes after communicating with parents -- Ive sent her do this on multiple occasions and it made me feel very uncomfortable to entrust my child in their care. The therapists are not as experienced as I though it they would be so I had to pull my child out. They just assign children to therapists like a production line so your child will not have thr same therapist each time which makes consistency in your childs program a BIG CHALLENGE I DO NOT recommend them at all. Waste of time and money.

Its been about 2 weeks now since I removed my boys from this business schedule. I had a rude experience with Erica the receptionist and this is not the first time that she has been passive and RUDE but this time of all times Erica decided to hang up on me. I talked to Tabatha and asked that my boys be removed from their schedule until Niti gives me a call I NEVER received that call or a follow up. My boys have been seeing the speech therapists here for about 2 years now and it saddens me on the customer service and how nothing has been done involving Ericas behavior. The ownermanager would not even take my call when I asked or decided to wait on hold until she was available

We love Talk About Therapy. My sons SLP Ms. Molly is so amazing and kind. My son is 3 with extreme separation anxiety but he has no issues with taking Ms. Mollys hand to attend his sessions. He absolutely loves herWe recently got a second therapist in their office Ms. Emily who is amazing and personable too.All of the therapists here are great with the kids and try to make them as comfortable as possible. You can tell they love what they do. I am so happy that I found Talk About Therapy. Their new location is really nice too.

Talk About Therapy has been a blessing to me and my son I drive to this place twice a week and its an hour drive going and returning home. I refuse to remove my son out of this program Ms. Lilly is loved by me and Santana and we can never be more thankful for her We are also appreciative of all the staff that work here because they all come in handy on an everyday bases. I would recommend this place to everyone this place has become my family. Thank you all

We love Talk About Therapy Our daughter has been there for over a year now and its the highlight of her week. She frequently asks for her therapists and looks forward to going to her sessions. Ms. Hannah Ms. Lily and Ms. Salwa have all been so supportive and instrumental in our daughters development. Weve seen so much improvement.

Weve been with Talk About Therapy for over 2 years. Different therapist have different methods. Our current speech OT therapist Ms. Taylor Ms. Camden are a blessing They both are very attentive to my childs needs. I love the support weve been provided thus far.

Ms. Camden Madison Molly have been instrumental in our sons progress His speech has improved beyond our belief and we owe it to their skills passion and dedication for their craft. We couldnt be happier with his outcome and would recommend Talk About Therapy to anyone These ladies are truly the best and were forever grateful.

Our 4 year old has been working with Ms. Madison since 7312023 and the progress in her speech has been amazing If we could rate higher than a 5 we would as the entire staff and team is amazing

I cannot thank Ms.Taylor enough for the incredible support she has provided for my toddlers development. Her expertise and care have alleviated many of my worries as a first time parent. Ms.Taylors dedication is evident in the amazing feedback she provides suggesting common yet effective ways to expose my little one to new experiences. Her guidance has been invaluable in fostering my childs growth. Highly recommended
