This place needs pest control ASAP I walked into the womens bathroom and there were 4-5 huge cockroaches I informed another mother to be careful when she entered the bathroom and she said she noticed one earlier at the start of practice. I mentioned it to my daughter and said she has seen them also at this facility. This was the first time visiting this place. As I was jumping around to get away from them one ran under my shoe and I stepped on it Im not sure I want to go back.

This pool has more seating available than the Bill Walker pool next door...especially during swim meets. The Bill Walker pool was not a good venue for championship swim meets.

low glare and better seating than many pools. The bleachers have back rests and enough room to pass through. The translucent roof makes the building a hit box. The goal is to vent air from garage doors on the East side to vents above the bleachers. But the vents arent at the top so there is a hot pocket of air. That hot air is then circulated by the huge ceiling fans. Swimmers are mostly waiting for events outside in the sun.It would be better to replace the roof with a solid one like the Bill Walker pool which is far cooler and install exhaust fans rather than circulating fans.

Here for state swim meet. Overpriced crammed in like sardines. No ventilation. They dont even turn the fans on. If your going to host a state swim you have a long way to go UIL do better.

Nice school district pool. Actually two pools. One with 2 short course pool and cool down and another with a short course with driving decks. Two buildings are connected. The meet management policy was tricky - no outside foods and drinks and clear bag only for my swim meet.

This facility doesnt allow you to bring drinks or food inside. They also dont have air conditioning but instead a couple of fans that barely work. There...

Ive swam here for a very long time. I used to swim in the old walker pool way back in the late 90s.Ive never been to another pool with such hard working friendly and Helpful Lifeguards. I see them doing everything. Guarding Cleaning acting as Security. If theyre not being paid atleast 20 it would be criminal. The humidity in the new pool seems very high and I see them scrubbing and cleaning perspiring to no end.

I hate coming here for swim meets. Nobody else in SA is as strict and ridiculous as the management team here. At NISD pools including the NISD Natatorium youre allowed to bring in waters and snacks and the swimmers are allowed to come up and visit with their families and friends during their breaks. Not here. Even in 105F Texas heat youre not allowed to bring in waters and youre forced to buy their expensive concessions. People and swimmers are treated like cattle here. Checking-in is ridiculous. It feels more like were going through the airport for an international trip or visiting a high security government facility than going to a swim meet. Im so glad that we live in the NISD school district and dont have to go through this all the time. I wish they never selected this pool for any swim meets ever again.

Horrible CenterIts hot inside and they dont have timers.. How can you host an event and dont have the proper staff.. We pay an entry fee and you expect us to volunteer when we are guest.. Crazy maybe you should take a page from NISD where they have timers sign up in advance and wave the entry fee.

Congrats to all the super fast times for the District 25-6A Championships. New starting blocks with built in strobe lights make for quick starts. Very well officiated.
