Switched from Kaiser to Swedish and the service is amazing Love Dr Hawes he is attentive detailed and helpful. The staff there is great too and I highly recommend to get your kiddos to get their care here specially if you live in west Seattle and your insurance is supportive of Swedish

Its really unfortunate that I have to now find a new pediatric doctor for my baby being that we really liked her Doctor Dr. Kumasaka and this clinic is conveniently across the street from us. We checked in 8 minutes late for our appt today because like most single working parents I had to take time off from work and grab her from daycare and rush there. I tried to call before 10am to let them know that we were going to be running a few minutes late I was told prior that there was a 10min grace period so thought we would still be fine to check in being that we were there before the grace period ended. The lady is in the middle of checking us in and updating insurance and a man walks up behind her to tell her to tell me that we can no longer be seen. There was no sincere Im sorry or this is what we can do for you until I had to visibility show how upset I was was then that they tried to fit me in for an appt the next day. We already waited a long time to get in for an appt and it wasnt even going to be with her original doctor. It seems as though none of the staff especially the fill-in doctors that they have truly care about babies at all. Their solution was to take my baby who has been in so much pain from constipation over to urgent care because her doctors office refuses to see her over 8 minutes. But whenever I do check-in on time and the doctor is running late Im patient and understanding every time. I realize that its Friday and they all want to get out on time. But none of that matters when youre dealing with a sick baby. I am not proud to say that my baby is a patient at Swedish and do not recommend this clinic to any new moms searching for a Pediatrician for their babies.

Meh...Not really impressed with the care here if Im honest. Weve been seeing various doctors here since my son was born in June. Unfortunately you dont get to spend a lot of time with the doctors who overall seem very rushed and have cursory answers to your questions. I have liked the doctors demeanor when weve visited but Swedish is a business that overbooks doctors so they have to rush from patient to patient and unfortunately this makes it difficult to spend time with patients and thoughtfully answer questions. The providers are also hit or miss. I like Dr. Kumasaka he seems friendly. But we never really get a lot out of him to be honest. Ive asked him questions about things like introducing solids baby not sleeping through the night etc. and answers are always subpar or very traditional. For example most experts would agree that introducing solids before 6 months is not a great idea if baby cant sit up on own most 4 month olds dont still have the extrusion reflex etc. but Dr. K seems to think we should introduce solids at that age. Insert eye roll emoji here. Dr. Hawes doesnt really seem to enjoy infants but did at least spend some time looking things up a bit more thoroughly. We recently met with Dr. Madan...completely useless and a waste of time. Cant believe he is a doctor. WE were the ones who had to ask probing questions to assess what was wrong with our son.I started taking my son to my own naturopath who spends an hour with him at each checkup and holistically assesses problems. Shes all the way over in Kenmore which is a slog but at least I know were getting thorough care.I keep WS Pediatrics on the list just in case something major comes up because theyre close but overall Im never impressed when I go in.

We have received excellent care when we are able to secure an appointment. However scheduling and protocol with siblings feels impersonal and inflexible which is frustrating when you have sick little ones that need care - hence the 3 star rating.

We love Swedish Pediatrics in West Seattle. Everyone we have interacted with at this location has been wonderful. They are always able to squeeze us in for urgent issues and scheduling for the regular checkups is straightforward. Every pediatrician we have seen has been professional helpful kind and knowledgeable. All of the nurses and staff have been great to work with. Overall I have been very pleased with my interactions and the care received for my family here.

Today we took our daughter for her appointment. We called in advance and were prepared for her appointment. Our daughter has had COVID and was received a release note from this office a week ago. Today we turned away from her appointment because she has a cough for an ear infection she was just seen for as well a week ago. They said they dont see children with a cough AT THE DOCTORS OFFICE. Well I am sorry do you only see healthy patients at the doctor She cant give you COVID when you literally just released her for international travel and said she was safe but now wont see her because you are afraid of a 2 year old with a cough. Absolutely ridiculous. Dont take your child here. It has been nothing but drama since her first appointment. We are finding a new clinic. Guess we will just have a kid with a cough that will miss her 2 year check up. Great customer service Swedish. FAIL.

Today was my first of 3 visits I have scheduled for my kids. My teen son was the first to go and the experience with this clinic so far has been very pleasant. I havent experienced too many clinics but the ones aside from my childrens previous provider have been okay but not what Id want long term.Pros Calling and Scheduling.- I called and inquired about accepting new patients the patient care rep said they were accepting new patients...I went on to book 3 appointments and the patient care rep was awesome. At one point more than half way through my phone died and she called back and left a voicemail. Most providers dont delete your info and your back to point A.- I received 2 follow upappointment confirmation calls between the day I scheduled the appointments and the 1st one. -Day of AppointmentThe safety precautions they take are great and have a organized setup. I definitely felt no risk of being subject to possibly contracting COVID. They have you stand in a line with 6ft distance with on and hand sanitizer available to use be entering.-DoctorNurseFront DeskPatient Care Coordinators All staff were extremely nice friendly and provided great support. Ive been places were Ive thought the smiles and conversation was forced fake or trying to hard but I actually felt like Ive been a patient and it was just another visit. Great experience overall parking was cool directions were easy concerning time...couldnt have been better

The website deceitfully claims Kaiser Permanente coverage. After our childs vaccines were given we were given a 400 bill with the expectation to pay immediately or pay 35 more. Kaiser is not actually covered Great example of terrible service for high fees and deceit in the US healthcare system.

Great extended office hours. They do care about the little angels. Everyone is very professional and courteous. I am glad we found this place. If you have any question they will always be there for answering. Zero complaints many pros. Oh super important... Is so easy to schedule appointments in this office. Did a little research on Drs and it seems they are all highly qualified.

Front desk employee Victoria was exceptional. She dealt with a very rude and accusing mother in a very professional and mature way. I was impressed by her calm attitude and kindness despite the mothers crude behavior.
