Took my Neice to a Retirement party. Staff was very friendly.

I like having more organizations that help those with disabilities. But to me it seems that they cater mostly to those who work in sheltered workshops. When it comes to trips to Chicago or to Kansas City they dont bother to stop and use Amtrak when they know Amtrak has direct service between St. Louis and Kansas City and also between St. Louis and Chicago. Chicago has superior public transit and the el is in a way a tourist attraction. They finally got a piece of equipment where people can have more of a comfortable ride than an ordinary vans. If you are a senior citizen the drivers they choose are mostly young and they often put on songs that they like and they dont give a hoot about what the older clients like.

This job was fun at first loved my PWS first I got falsely terminated because of a lie a supervisor Day Williams said I walked off and I didnt I actually got approval from my boss which was there when I left thanks to Donny Mitchell who gave my job back I can say he is a great person then a couple months later I had To resign due to I found another job they didnt pay out any of my PTO and have terminated on my status instead of resigned. You are over worked far has stuck at work you dont get any help from anyone in the office unless you make it a issue they put all the work on home managers as if we not doing enough we keep the whole site together from doctor appointments grocery shopping outings and all. I loved my PWS no doubt miss them already but you have to watch that director Calle of the company very very unprofessional. When they took my PTO and have terminated on my status instead of resigned that really ticked me off. And anything under 80hrs of PTO should be paid out. Got my attorneys on it so Ill get mine and more. My blood pressure has been normal since I left It stayed up while I worked there.

Worst place Ive ever seen up and operating. Cassady is the worst at her job everyone is lazy I could go on forever and forever. You cant go to the office because theyre also lazy and DO NOT care about their job whatsoever. While the big wigs are playing golf

I regret to say that during my tenure of five years at this establishment I observed a distressing lack of professional and ethical standards. Employees often face demanding work schedules being expected to clock in 50-70 hours weekly with little to no flexibility. The managements attitude towards staff leaves much to be desired often bordering on discourteousness. Moreover there appears to be a double standard when addressing issues of grave concern. Ive witnessed employees indulging in illicit activities and rather than being reprimanded theyre transferred elsewhere.Furthermore specific instances of alleged abuse towards clients by the PS go unaddressed perhaps due to internal connections allowing these individuals to remain in their roles for extended periods. Its also essential to note the profoundly unsettling environment fostered by some of the parents. Racial slurs and derogatory remarks are not uncommon and employees often find themselves wrongfully blamed for matters they are not responsible for. I faced instances of homophobia during my time here. It is alarming to report that there was a lack of thorough investigation into a case where a client had visible signs of harm. The living conditions of some homes are deplorable with poor maintenance and hygiene standards.If you value your time and well-being I would exercise caution before considering a role here. The truths Ive shared are not meant to defame but to shed light on the genuine experiences during my 5 five years there.

The management staff is completely disrespectful to the other employees. The work environment is highly toxic and severely threatening. This is not a job but a license for Sunnyhill Management to jeopardize your abilities as an employee but will chastise you continuously. Do yourself a favor and keep your dignity intact and never work for this deplorable company

I worked for this company for two years. I always thought it was a great company to work for and they did wonderful things for people and they do. But they treat their employees badly. I had always done my job the right way. I recently made one mistake and got fired. No warning no verbal conversation no write up or anything.

This is a very dangerous company. I am a guardian for my nephew and he is being subjected to violence from roommate. They have been telling us they are moving roommate out but it has been 4 long months And they refuse to get any help for roommate when he exhibits violence. Last night he attacked my nephew again on the stairs even with aide right there. Staff obviously was not trained because we are told staff is always supposed to be between guys and she didnt. They shoot the messenger BIG TIME and Calle M. made things much worse for us too

Not a good company. The staff in the field is treated as slaves that worked the field. Theyre understaffed and under paid. I was terminated for taking PTO. They said I abandoned the job. Which was absolutely false. I had over 200 plus hours of PTO that accumulated and approved by my supervisor. Calle m. has a personal issue with me and talked about me to other staff even as far as to make a joke about my vitiligo before. The people in the office pressures the staff to work shifts they didnt sign on for and a threaten theyre job if they dont comply. Very unprofessional and talks bad about staff personal issues to others in the company.

This company is ok to start but dont expect promotions unless youre a blood relative sleeping with someone in upper management or just caught someones eye. The nepotism is ridiculous. They will lie to and tell you that you can move up through hard work but hard work is punished. If youre good at your job they give you more work. If you suck at your job they promote you. Its like being back in high school the popular kids rule. The previous comment about skin color is dead on as well. Good luck. Youll hate this company after less than a year. The vice president lies he promised me extra money for extra work and then refused to pay so do not trust anything he says unless it is in writing. Most of the other admins are not to be trusted. Whatever makes them look good works for them.PS- The grievance procedure is meaningless noise that basically tells you youre wrong and theyre right no matter the circumstances. If it wasnt true there wouldnt be a response.
