St. Joseph's Children's Hospital

We received excellent care while at St. Josephs. The ER doctor was great as she researched more than just topical symptoms- finding out that my son needed an appendectomy. Dr. Alicia Waters was our pediatric surgeon and she was amazing She is extremely personal and informative. Her bedside manner helped us feel safe and that we were in the right place for our sons surgery. Dr. Waters open and caring personality shines through her work. My son is recovering very well. She is absolutely amazing Thank you Dr. Waters and staff

From the first step in we were treated with respect. The security receptionist admitting nurse were all attentive. The nursing staff NP and doctors even those in passing not directly connected to our son were ready to offer assistance provide ease answer questions. Its a shame that all hospitals staff dont manage like this. The doctor took the needed time to explain test results and next.Quite frankly it is shameful to think that less is often provided but thats a reality...We were thankful that the treatment was as it should always be when as parents were on edge about our childrens health.Our sincerest thanks

The hospital has always been good during difficult times. I would definitely bring my children here in a heart beat. My only complaint is unnecessary radiation exposure . My son apparently needed an ultrasound and an abdominal xray. The radiologist wasnt very careful and accidentally took an image of my son when something was in the way and my son had to get double exposure. I feel when it comes to radiation employees should be much more careful especially with radiation. It made me very upset and now my son has had double exposure.i would like to know how much radiation my son was really exposed to. Children are very vulnerable to this.

THIS HOSPITAL IS AMAZING My son broke his ulna and radius on Tuesday Jan 30th. We had to stay overnight so he could have surgery the next day. They explained everything to my son and I everytime something new came up. All the ladies are super sweet. The Doctors there are very knowledgeable and caring. Our room was safe and clean. If we needed something they would get it right away. Only problem I had was the couch wasnt comfy but that cant be changed and Im okay with it. All that mattered was my son was well taken care of emotionally and physically. We live in clearwater and it is about 35-45 min drive but it was worth it

All medical team are absolutely amazing and super kind and care for their patients. I had the pleasure of having Alba to register my grandson and was super pleasant and personable. Michelle in pre op did a great job in accessing my grandsons port And was super kind and welcoming. Victoria in recovery was amazing her gentleness in caring for my grandson was so noticed. I feel very blessed to have the medical teams at the Tampa location giving my Grandboys care. They truly put your worrying and concerns at ease. I trust them with the most important children in my life. Thank you all who serve us the community with the servants positions that you so Diligently. You do it all with kindness love and smiles. You are so appreciated.

All stuff was amazingI was especially impressed that they have a children specialist who explains everything to children what to expect if it will possibly hurt . It helped tremendously my daughter to overcome her fairs. Highly recommend St. Josephs Hospital Main Childrens ER to every parent.

We had a great experience from the admitting nurse to the child life specialist Jessica to the Nurse Anesthetist and the anesthesiologist and our GI doctor and the techs. Everyone was so friendly and supportive and helpful. They made our daughter feel at ease and also made mom and dad more comfortable also We thank your staff from the bottom of our hearts for the exceptional care you gave our daughter

Our experience could not have been better. We had a car crash on my little girls third birthday and the nurses went above and beyond to turn the whole scary experience into a joyful celebration with lights and gifts and extreme kindness. The doctor was efficient and thorough. I was so shaken but having all their support in that moment helped me so much to stay calm and grounded. Thank you for the expert care and the outpouring of compassion.

My baby girl had surgery almost 2 weeks ago and as a parent I was very nervous and scared for my child. The moment we walked in from registering her be guided to the waiting room to get called in and then being called to the back. Just those small experiences were welcoming and very hospitable. Nurses were very nice and my daughters surgeon Dr. Aaron Scott is amazing. I cant say anything bad about the type of care my daughter recieved. Everyone was very caring and reassured me my baby girl was going to be fine. When they took her back into the operating room they called me every hour to give me updates on how my baby was doing during surgery. I am so happy and thankful for the care. After the surgery they called me back to head to recovery section. The nurses there were also amazing and handled my baby girl with care and held in their arms. I felt so happy and appreciated those small things. The nurses in the peds unit was also awesome. We only stayed over night the nurses and techs were so nice and very helpful and hospitable. Again I cant thank you all enough. Dr. Scott is amazing Thank you again to all the amazing staff at St. Josephs childrens hospital.

Everyone was excellent St Joesphs has a great staff working for the hospital. I really have high regards for Dr. Lau and his surgical team. It was helpful...

In the er for childrens and there is absolutely no cleaning or sanitation Happening at all. There a pile of puke on the floor for the past hour and three cleaners a nurse and an admin all looked at and kept on going. So many coughing and sneezing kids in here tonight. No one has through to clean the chairs in the waiting room in the last two hours. Those who arrived when the ones who were sick sitting in the chairs are standing because of how unsanitary it is. There not even handsanitzer or napkins to try to clean yourself.
