Dell Children's Medical Center - Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic

The doctor and the resident that saw my son at the dermatology clinic were great. But I did not have a good experience with the lady at the front desk who took our next appointment request. When we were discussing dates and times for the next appointment I could see that she was getting visibly frustrated and her responses were very short and curt.

Dr Diaz was unbelievably thorough and on point with her diagnosis and treatment. She followed on my son as well. One of the best doctors I have encountered.

Dr. Varsheny is so engaged and knowledgeable. She answers all our questions and even anticipates some of them so we always feel we understand what is happening with our child and what the path forward is.

Dr. Ravenscroft and her staff are nothing short of angels. They definitely care about my son and it shows. I would highly recommend Dr.Sheri Ravenscroft any day of the week. You know your in good hands their with her and her staff for sure.

Dr. Tayer and his team are amazing We are so lucky that our son has been under his care since he was in the NICU. We would highly recommend him.

The strictly pediatrics wing of Dell Childrens is a great location with logically grouped clinicians and specialists near one another. The facility is kept clean and the staff put the children first the patients after all.

I would give ZERO stars. We waited 2 months for this appointment. The previous day we filled out the registration questionnaire we drove 26 miles into Austin parked in the garage and arrived 20 minutes early for our appointment. After we gave our name and appointment time I handed the receptionist our parking ticket for validation which she quickly spit back we only validate if you did your registration ahead of time. Again we got there 20 minutes early. Having been in the healthcare field for over 20 years half of that time in management of frontback office my sincere feedback is that the practices priorities are skewed and the frontback office staff need more customer service training. The practice administration seems to cares more about making 2.00 from parking than the patients being seen. The parking ticket validation requirements if they are so crucial need to be stated while on the phone and in the NP emails going out which they are not. I decided this practice was not a good fit for us if I am paying for parking on top of whatever deductible I have I want to know that we are valued as a patient and this practice did everything they could to confirm they wanted their 2.00 for parking more than our business.
